Coke goes Full Woke

sugar is the enemy. i just dropped 20 cause i was getting flabby.
all you really have to do is cut out refined sugars and "white" grains. *are white grains racist?*

Idk, but andoullie with red beans and long grain brown wild rice ain't nothin' to holler about.. and I gotta eat that 2 more times.
Next time I'll use Jasmine rice, because fuck what they say!

There's always wheat bread (or "brown bread" as we used to call it). I dropped 40 lbs. a few years ago
and stayed there until all these lockdowns, I guess I'll have to get back to watching what I eat and drink.

I think you're close to my age (65) and at our age we gotta do it.
that and regular exercise and you'll be back in shape in no time - feeling good

Or...just a thought, stay away from bread. I use arugula as a wrap.

good idea.
i eat a flax wrap high in oat bran (soluable fiber) but it's got a ton of wheat gluten in it for protein as well.

I eat gluten, but i limit it -the 10 grams of soluble fiber make it worthwhile

Flatout
A high fiber with 7 grams of protein and ½ the net carbs and calories of 2 slices of the leading multigrain bread.

I usually gain a few lbs. over winter, but lose it in the spring when getting ready for summer
and going groundhog hunting. That didn't happen this past summer and now with winter here,
what I didn't lose over summer and adding what I gained this winter so far is gonna be tough
to lose it again. I have to do it because I don't want to have to replace the clothes I tossed
when I lost the 40 lbs. But yeah, at 60, I gotta do it to keep energy levels up.

ground hog hunting? why? varmints?

To keep my marksmanship skills honed and to help out the farmers. Groundhogs not only terrorize (eat) soybean fields, their holes are very hard on farm equipment.
Some farmers use poison gasses to kill them (not thinking what the chemicals put in the soil), others prefer guys like me who do it for free with a rifle.

Even if you're the most hard core isolationist possible, now that we are on the world economy, how would that possibly be changed?

tariiffs. appropriate accounting laws. all trade cessation with countries without civil rights or appropriate labor codes.

Protectionism and isolationism is a bunker mentality....which is a nice way of saying an Ostrich mentality.

IMO, the best defense is a good offense, not hiding from reality waiting for something to come knocking on my bunker door. :)

no. wrong. it's sensible. you're brainwashed by internationalist fascists.

wise up, shitpants pappy.

anti-globalization is the future. the whole world is waking up. don't get left behind, neocon idiot.

tariffs. ceasing relations alltogether in the face of human slavery.

All the manufacturing that we did domestically decades ago...how quickly could we replace those factories?
And what would we do in the meantime?
Also, people who don't align with us will align with somebody else.
Even if we're still the most powerful nation on earth, we're certainly not as powerful as all the rest of them put together.

don't worry, lady boy.

I suppose the ladies did like me when I was a boy, AssHat.
I can't take any credit for that.
I had attractive parents.

Why that would cause me to worry, and what does it have to do with the topic, are two other questions.

you're just expressing worry, not policy positions, or arguments.
