It's close but I think it's actually Capitalism.

You thought wrong. Communism has killed well over 100 million people
Mao: Somewhere between 40 and 75 million
Stalin: 10 to 40 million
Pol Pot: About 1 to 2 million
N. Korea: Between 4 and 6 million (includes their aggressive invasion of S. Korea)
If you are going by a list like this:
You'd be dead flat wrong because most of that list isn't about "Capitalism."
Most of it is about Colonialism and Mercantilism. Neither is Capitalist. The rest are mostly about wars fought for various reasons. To include World War 2 on that list is nothing short of insanely stupid. Capitalists didn't start WW 2, Imperialists, Fascist, and Communist Dictators did.
Another laughable one is US intervention in Central America in the 1920's. Six (6) million dead? Ha! There were barely 6 million living in Central America at the time. There is no viable evidence that the US mass murdered virtually the entire population of Central America during that period. You'd think the person(s) making that list would have done at least a tiny bit of research. For example, Nicaragua one of the largest nations in Central America had a population of less than 1 million in the 1920's. Did the US kill them all? I don't think so...
Some of the inclusions are about environmental and other health hazards. Well, all you have to do is look at Communist countries to see the world's largest and most sustained environmental disasters. From the Aral Sea, to Chernobyl, to air pollution in China, the Communists make free nations practicing whatever look like rank amateurs at causing such disasters. One might note that the environmental movement really got its start in the late 1970's when Richard Nixon established the Environmental Protection Agency and the US for the first time, and almost being the first nation to do so, started regulating pollution and causes of pollution.
There's no contest here. Hands down Communism kills far, far more people than Capitalism.
Let's see the British Empire probably killed 65 - 70 million by famine alone.
The American Imperialists probably killed 15 - 30 million by war.
WW1 killed 15 - 25 million by Capitalist powers, mostly.
Famine? Given the period, the fact the British Empire wasn't Capitalist, and the level of technology of farming, you can hardly count that. Famine in Communist countries from N. Korea, to the USSR and China has easily done the same and probably exceeded it, mostly because of horribly inefficient agricultural practices.
Name the wars and the number killed.
It was a war! Certainly during WW 1, there were no mass exterminations simply to kill off a population en masse like say Kaytin Forest, or the Nazi Holocaust, the Gulags, Chinese re-education camps, etc., where Communist and Fascist Dictators killed off tens of millions just because they could. You might also note that the events that led to WW 1 were perpetrated by Socialists and Communists, not Capitalists. Had those events not happened, WW 1 likely would not have happened.
People in Poland would deport you back to the US for being such a dumbass.
Most Poles aren't as Capitalist as most Americans.
That's nice. Would you say they're more nationalistic?
Definitely.
Oh really?
Britain was clearly overwhelmingly Capitalist by then.
Germany was clearly overwhelmingly Capitalist by WW1.
As for the USA it killed plenty.
Look at the A bombs over Japan, Dresden fire bombing, the Invasion of Italy in WW2, right there Americans/ Anglos killed about 1 million civilians.
Korean war millions more.
Vietnam wars millions more.
Iraq & Afghanistan.
Tons more.
And, the war didn't start over economics, it started over Imperialism when a Leftist Anarchist shot Archduke Ferdinand...
Who started that war? What was the US supposed to do, lay down an lick their privates after Pearl Harbor and then Germany declaring war on the them? Germany and Japan got what they deserved for starting wars of expansion based on military imperialism, Socialist Fascism, and racism.
Who started that one? Communists anyone?
Another war started by Communists.
Wars started by religious zealots and insane dictators, not by the US.
Maybe you should find some wars the US started unilaterally, just because they could...
It's close but I think it's actually Capitalism.
Capitalist America killed close to one million Iraqis in Bush's invasion.
