Conservatives ban guns at CPAC; impose gun-free "safe space"

You shouldn't be surprised that Conservatives obey the law......whether they agree with them or not....idiot liberals ought to try it.

They do? What "law" bans guns at the CPAC conference or the GOP convention?

Didn't armed conservatives defy the law when they "protected" recruiting centers?

Poor BLABO.

If I'm correct and I believe I am, the Republicans had nothing to do with Guns being banned at this; because a gun ban at the facility was already in affect, no matter who used the place.

That's a convenient excuse.

All the RNC has to do is agree to indemnify the arena, according to Jarod.

Don't you support open carry? Good guys with guns?

Aren't gun-free zones just an enticement to criminals?

Don't all Americans have the right to keep and bear arms and defend themselves?

Sure, there may be police on-site, but aren't the police minutes away when seconds count?

It is interesting. But CPAC was held at a Marriott property. Marriott has a policy against guns. I know Legion Fag and Zappasfag think they are being cute but their indignation is as usual misplaced.

Didn't gun rights supporters mount several boycotts of private businesses in an attempt to overturn those types of policies?

Do you concede that it was Marriott corporate policy?

Gun rights advocates have called for boycotts against businesses that don't allow firearms in the past.

Gun rights advocates have agitated for using "gun-friendly" venues in the past.

Instead, people arriving at the Gaylord to hear Wayne LaPierre say that "The simple truth is that the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun" and call gun-free zones "the worst and most dangerous of all lies" saw this:

Is that your concession that it is Marriott policy and not RNC policy?

As for the boycott? I am sure many people called for them. Lots of people call for lots of things. However there are very few venues that can hold an event that size. But I am happy to see you be so passionate about something. Kudos to you little guy.

Ohio law says those with concealed carry permits may legally carry firearms, if they are holstered.

How surprising to find another Rightie ignorant of the law.

Righties are desperate to find a reason to ban guns at their functions, it seems, although they claim to be in favor of open carry and say that "gun-free zones are bait."

I wonder if they're secretly relived that the SS gave them an out?

Then why aren't 2nd amendment supporters protesting the infringement of their constitutional right to bear arms?

That's what they do whenever a private business chooses to not allow firearms through their doors.

Looks like the "it's their policy" excuse is a convenient cop-out for cons who claim to support the Constitution:
