even the most fundamental of fundamentalists doesn't believe everything in the Bible is literally true.......when the passage says the cattle on a thousand hills sing praise to God it doesn't mean we think the cattle on hill #1001 are atheists......

The fact that you are a liar does not make the biblical support for the 6000 years any less valid. What's wrong with the estimate? What is your support? Where is the flaw, in the number according to the Bible? You have nothing to offer but lies and attempts to divert attention.

Yeah, heard that one from you before. So you are saying you cherry pick the bible, which is what I suggested and fits with your rejection of the detailed timeline that is thoroughly supported by numerous biblical references.

Maybe you can come up with some definite stance on Noah. How long ago was that? You demand that I prove what happened 4 billion years ago in order to support evolution that is proven by much more accessible data, yet you can't even take a stand on a fundamental point and tell us whether it happened less than 6000, 100000 or 25 million years ago.

actually, I would say I study it.....to determine what it actually is saying......if by ignoring your incorrect and unstudied conclusions about what it says in favor of an educated understanding you mean "cherry pick" then I guess I will have to concede.....

I have no idea....since the Bible doesn't state how long ago I could only give you a number by making one up......and its hardly a "fundamental" point....my Bible is close to an inch and a half thick and only two pages are devoted to Noah.....

further, I have never demanded you prove anything that happened 4 billion years ago.....I merely want you to realize you can't, and that what you believe about it is no less a faith choice than those made by anyone else.....
