But it's not 'macroevolution'? You don't accept the theory of evolution. You have your own stupid and unworkable theory of evolution not based on science but tailored to agree with your stupid and unworkable theory of the Bible and flood. Or at least that is what one must gather from your vague and cowardly responses.

I believe that the creation is designed to adapt to its environment.......I believe that evolution explains why we have 37k different species of beetle.....I believe evolution explains why we have different species of butterflies......I don't believe evolution explains why we have butterflies in the first place......I haven't quite figured out if its was supposed to be a crawling creature that started "evolving" into a flying creature because it survived better that way or a flying creature that started "evolving" into a crawling creature because it survived better that way......what confuses me is that it seems to have stopped halfway through and continues to survive either way.......

in any event, I don't agree with Baxter that human beings and sequoia trees have a common ancestor......
 
Baxter is full of strange beliefs. He even claims to be a libertarian but he's not really. He's just a greedy American who thinks he doesn't have to pay taxes and so hides behind the libertarian label. And he's now run away from even discussing it further with me because his anger proved to be bigger than he is.

Much the same behaviour he demonstrates with you PMP, as he flings insults and profanity in place of a reasoned argument. I think you are wasting too much time on him.

The diversity of beetles and butterflies is an example of macroevolution as is the diversity of insects, animals and all life. Evolution explains the diversity of all life. It does not explain the origin of life.

It is the theory of evolution. You have yet to cite one example of any way in which I am diverging from the theory or anything I have wrong. You are too much of a coward to discuss specifics.

Maybe Caterpillars had a vote and someone had an open mind. Maybe Caterpillars noticed they are the structure for something big and noticed someone that looks like a Sloth was preventing their wings.

In an attempt to prevent these working CATER PILLARS from gaining too much ground based on catering to the rich and also being the pillars of their being, the rich use Media to tell Labor workers their work is useless and futile. It's only the people with money that matter here in the USA. NOT THE LABOR FORCE.

Like everything else in politics we see INFORMATIONAL CONSERVATIVES learning at a very rapid rate. Note that information has little to do with spending. :eek:

I am not trying to convince him of anything. I post things and he pisses and moans because it contradicts his religious beliefs. He has been asked to present an alternative hypothesis and he hides behind vague bullshit, redefining words and lying about what the bible indicates.
