So you are now admitting the indictment alleges a crime?
Good, we are making progress. Charge is 175.10.... "A person is guilty of falsifying business records in the first degree when he commits the crime of falsifying business records in the second degree, and when his intent to defraud includes an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof."
There is no need to specify what that other crime is at this point, in fact there may never be a need to do so except in front of a jury. It could be several crimes or only one. Trump is not actually charged with the 'second' crime, its is simply an element of the first. In fact Trump does not even need to be guilty of the 'second' crime, only have intent to commit or conceal the fact that someone (not necessarily Trump himself) planned to commit it.
So you see, the idea that you silly sycophants are trying to make a big deal out of the lack of specification of that crime in the indictment is simply dumb.
From the Statement of Facts, there are several possibilities... Federal Election Laws, State Election Laws, Federal Tax Laws, State Tax Laws, and Corporate Document Laws for The Enquirer. There could be more.
According to the Statement of Facts, Trump said he did not care of Stormy told her story after the election, so only pay the money if it was required to keep her quiet before the election. That makes it clear he only paid the money with relation to the election.
