If women can indiscriminately abort their innocent unborn babies and try to justify it by claiming it really isn't a child, why would you think I'd have a problem being on an execution squad where a POS gets what he deserves?

Privately run prisons are the biggest argument against capital punishment. There's enormous profit in life sentences.

Much of that is due to how our society raises its children. One or two generations back there would have been no mental effects on most who performed executions.

nope.PTSD has been in every war since men started fighting. Most people cannot kill their fellow man and leave unscathed. The Smithsonian has described PTSD in Civil War vets without that designation. We had different names for the same condition in every war.
I do not know if some executioners are immune, but I doubt it. Why do you think they have firing squads when one good shooter could do the job as well?
