Dems did themselves in!

A lot of Bernie supporters voted for Trump or that other Green Party whatsername gal.

Stein.

That took votes away from her and gave us Trump.

Face it.

The Bernie Progressives hurt Clinton and helped Trump win.

She was a weak candidate. When will you realize that? It's no one else's fault.

There were no dirty tricks.

A few emailed suggestions probably not even meant seriously but nothing unfair was ever actually done to Sanders.

And as the primaries moved west, he got his ass kicked worse and worse.

They were caught on tape rigging caucus counts in Iowa.
The jig is up. The only question is does anyone go to jail for it.

That's Hillary's fault - not Bernie's. I'll always be glad Bernie ran. Democrats will thank him in the long run - he got so many people engaged.

Hillary blew it. She ran a tepid campaign w/ no real message, and tried to play it safe. She could have won over those Bernie voters, but she didn't.

This just seems to reinforce the belief that Clinton was a weak candidate if she couldn't withstand having competition.

I voted for Stein....

I was not going to vote for the trump or her. Johnson :dunno:

We can second & 3rd guess the what if's, but she lost, lost on her own IMHO..

Look at all the shit thrown at Trump by his 16 opponents. Jeb, like Hillary, thought he was entitled to the nom but voters didn't want him.

Just like the end result in this case.

Sanders is a Socialist but at least he is honest and owns his positions instead of pandering to people with the wind.

Trump gave his rabid drooler fans what they wanted.

A loud mouth chest thumping insult hurler.

Exactly what you admire him for as he's good for nothing else.

Thank yourself for Trump.

You have no right to complain about him now.

You helped foist him upon us.

Painful as that may be to admit.

Actually he lives in California so his vote, like mine, changed nothing.

Again hardly a ringing endorsement for Hillary when you argue no one should have run against her in the primary and people should just vote for her regardless.

Wrong.

She was running against the worst disaster in American history.

Anyone should've known enough to vote for the person who had the best chance to beat Trump.

Doesn't matter which state you're in.

If Sanders hadn't run in the primaries, we wouldn't have this disgrace in the WH right now because a lot of the negativity that his campaign generated towards Clinton would not have came about.

So you can thank him for giving us President Trump.

I was telling the BernBots it was going to happen all last summer.

To anyone who supported Sanders or voted for some other candidate other than HRC, next time you pass a mirror, stop, look at your reflection and thank yourself for helping give us President Trump.

LOL Poor Hillary! So unfair! Bernie made her look bad, so he's to blame for her loss. Hillary is blameless, folks! She's not responsible for her faults, Bernie is! After all, he's the one who talked about her faults! Her faults are not her fault!

This has got to be the funniest example of the entitled attitude Hillary and her supporters display without any sense of how it makes them look.
News flash: You have to earn people's votes... They don't belong to you

Your candidate sucks outside your little bubble. You have a lot to learn.

It's your own fault as a party that the only person you could run was bad enough to lose for Trump.

No, she ran against him in the 2008 primaries and lost.

Everything you all spout ignores the simple, practical political reality that Sanders' campaign resulted in fewer votes for Clinton and helped Trump the disaster win the election.

Plain and simple.

This just confirms what EVERYONE knew and every Hillary wonk in the MSM denied. Thanks Hil, you gave us Trumpicana!

Court Admits DNC and Debbie Wasserman Schulz Rigged Primaries Against Sanders

http://observer.com/2017/08/court-a...rman-schulz-rigged-primaries-against-sanders/

I'm sorry .. but anyone who thinks Sanders would have won hasn't been paying attention.

Republicans wanted Sanders to be the nominee because they were going to destroy him with their opposition research. Anyone ask themselves why republicans didn't attack Sanders?

In 1972, when he was 31, Sanders wrote a fictitious essay in which he described a woman enjoying being raped by three men. Yes, there is an explanation for it — a long, complicated one, just like the one that would make clear why the Clinton emails story was nonsense. And we all know how well that worked out.

Sanders was on unemployment until his mid-30s

He stole electricity from a neighbor after failing to pay his bills

He co-sponsored a bill to ship Vermont’s nuclear waste to a poor Hispanic community in Texas, where it could be dumped

He voted against the Amber Alert system

He criticized Clinton for supporting the 1994 crime bill that he voted for

Republicans had video of Sanders at a 1985 rally thrown by the leftist Sandinista government in Nicaragua where half a million people chanted, “Here, there, everywhere/the Yankee will die,’’

Bernie Sanders promised to raise taxes on just about everyone, including the middle class.

In other words, the belief that Sanders would have walked into the White House based on polls taken before anyone really attacked him is a delusion built on a scaffolding of political ignorance.

Hillary Clinton was your one and only choice to beat the worst fucking president in American history .. and SANDERS SUPPORTERS helped to elect him.

Sanders could have put what was best for the country ahead of what was best for his political career and chosen not to run.

He knew what the potential was for damaging Clinton's campaign by running against her.

If he wanted to run that badly, he should've ran as an Independent rather than trying to hijack the Democratic Party.

Hillary could have stayed out of the race completely. She was already divisive, she was already not trusted, she had already shown she didn't have the charisma... yet she ran anyway. The DNC annointed her. Sanders would have beaten Trump. Hillary is the one that should have bowed out for the sake of the country. But she and the DNC decided it was 'her turn'.

Sanders was immaterial. He lost, Hillary won. Hillary then should have pummeled the clown. She didn't. It is what it is. Nothing sanders did or didn't do altered the result.
Sanders could never have defeated dump the chump. Trump triggered racists, white rural Jesusland warfare class resenters plus joe sixpack Limbaugh misguided nincompoops outnumber activist socialists in the USA.

Why is this a current event? It's not even instant replay, it's ancient history.

Totally different situation from Nader. Nader should have known to drop out after he got his message out - he enabled the Iraq War by staying in the race as a 3rd party candidate.

Bernie just ran in the primaries. He moved Hillary more left, which was great, AND he created a passionate new movement on the left. Bernie's crowds were full of people who will likely be the future of the Dem party and shape the direction it goes in - and that's a good thing.

But he supported Hillary when he was done. He didn't take any votes from her. She blew her own campaign.

Always interesting to go through these scenarios of 'what if'. What if Perot had dropped out... would Bush have beaten Clinton? if so, the economy would have continued improving and most likely the Reps would have kept control of the WH in 1996 as well. Obviously it is debatable who Perot drew from the most... Bush or Clinton. I tend to think Bush would have won in a head to head with Clinton. But who knows...
