DOGE discovers $4.7 trillion

🇺🇸 President Trump reads list of US government fraud uncovered by Elon Musk's DOGE: "This is all fraud."

"Where's the money being spent? Right? Let's go into that for just a second.

$520 million for a consultant on the environment. It's called Environmental, Social, and Governance investments in Africa and mobilized private sector resources.

$520 million? Somebody got $520 million for an environmental...sounds like an environmental study.

I've always been one that paid a lot of money for my environmental studies but they, you know, I paid like $50,000, not $520 million.

$520 million for ESG.

$25 million to promote biodiversity conservation and promote licit livelihoods by developing socially responsible behavior in the country of Colombia.

Well, it's nice, $25 million to go into Colombia for something that nobody ever heard of.

$40 million to improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants.

$42 million for Johns Hopkins—great place to research and drive social and behavior change in Uganda.

$42 million? What about us? What about social change in our country?

$70 million for a center at Purdue to research university-sourced evidence-based solutions to developmental challenges.

I mean, these are massive numbers on things that nobody ever heard about.

$10 million for Mozambique voluntary medical male circumcisions.

$10 million for circumcisions in another country.

$9.7 million for UC Berkeley to develop a cohort of Cambodian youth with enterprise-driven skills.

In other words, let's teach them something about enterprise.

What about our people? Can't we teach them about enterprise?

$2.3 million for strengthening independent voices in Cambodia.

$32 million to the Prague Civil Society Center, which is a very liberal group of people.

Wonder how much of that money came back to the people that approved it.

$14 million for improving public procurement in Serbia.

$486 million to the Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening, including $22 million for inclusive and participatory political process in Moldova and $21 million for voter turnout in India.

Well, why are we giving $21 million to India?

They got a lot of money there—they're one of the highest taxing countries in the world in terms of us.

We can hardly get in there because their tariffs are so high.

I have a lot of respect for India.

I have a lot of respect for the Prime Minister—he just left, as you know, two days ago.

But we're giving $21 million for voter turnout?

It's voter turnout in India.

What about like voter turnout here?

We've done that, I guess.

We did $500 million, didn't we?

It's called the lockboxes.

$20 million for fiscal federalism in Nepal.

Listen to these numbers—this is all fraud.

$19 million for biodiversity conservation in Nepal.

$1.5 million for voter confidence—we want to give them confidence in Liberia.

$14 million for social cohesion in Mali.

$2.5 million for inclusive democracies in South Africa.

$47 million for improving learning outcomes in Asia.

Asia's doing very well.

They're doing a lot better than we do in the schools, aren't they?

$2 million to develop sustainable recycling models to increase socio-economic cohesion among marginalized communities in Kosovo and Eskişehir and in Egypt.

We're talking about hundreds of billions of dollars.

I could—by the way—I could read this all day long.

I could go on all day long and you'll see hundreds of billions of dollars."
I would just like to know when these programs were passed by the House and how many were when the Republicans had control of the house so we can stop blaming the Dems and libs and put the blame where it actually belongs.
If it was when the Dems had control them put the blame on them but seeing they have only had control of the House 4 out of the last 15 years or so I wouldn't think they did all this in 4 years

Clearly, both sides are to blame. NOBODY has been watching the cash flow out of Congress and into places that make no sense.
All I want to see is somebody drill down and give me the amount that the intended recipient got after everyone before them pulled out their "fair share".

There should be no argument from the taxpaying public on following up on everything DOGE exposes to verify its truthfulness.

My point has been we read on here where people on here are not putting the blame where it be longs. as for that list of stupid spending I would like to know who was in control of the House where spending bills have to start so we can put the blame for wasteful spending where it belongs.
As I said if all that was passed in the 4 years the Dems had control of the House they really had to be busy.

President Trump has mentioned kickbacks several times.

Why are the far left Democratic Socialist loons opposing the search for waste, fraud, and abuse?

Why are they opposing the deportations of violent illegal criminals?

Why do Democrats suck?

I do not believe that all of these programs for trans-freaks in Guatemala and around the world were supported by Republicans.

They are supported by far left loons.

Musk fired a bunch of people in the agriculture department who were working on bird flu. They are trying to hire them back. This is not the first time they made that mistake. They are so self-absorbed that they are not firing people, just numbers on the spread sheet . Those are not lives, they are numbers on a list. I fired 2000 people yesterday. I won, I fired 3000. Trump and Elon are showing you what they think of workers. They have no respect for them or care about their lives. That group contains the right-wing posters on this board. They do not care about you. You have been suckered by a lying con man.

Stay ignorant, then.
Well as I suspected a waste of time, looking up the first 4 or 5 items here are all the same thing and Republicans had control of the House and spending at the time they were passed .
Going on to the next five or so again the Republicans had control of the spending.
Not going to waste any more time now it looks like most of this wasteful spending was passed when the Republicans had control of the House , as I suspected.

DOGE discovers $4.7 trillion in Treasury payments were missing critical code: ‘Traceability almost impossible’

Is that like the 8 Billion contract they claimed they terminated that turned out to actually be 8 Million when people with eyes looked at their contract listing that they provided as "evidence"?

And in what years was all this spending passed by the House?
The Republicans have had control of the House 6 out of 8 sessions since 2011. ( Republicans 12 years the Dems had it 4 years )
Maybe it is time to tell Republicans in the House to stop spending our money on these stupid projects.
This is the reason these last minute omnibus spending bills that no one reads must stop. We must break spending down to smaller bills and pork must be cut out.

Right now it’s the democrats that are protesting and complaining. I am confident that there were Republicans involved in the abuse.
