DOMA Is Unconstitutional

I read the DOMA ruling to say that if I marry in a "free marriage" state, then move to a "non-free marriage" state, I am still married in the eyes of the Federal Government.

Yes, it looks like you'll still have access to federal benefits; but the state won't consider you married, so if you want a divorce or have an argument that involves state laws affecting married couples, you're out of luck.

I can't wait for the state of Florida to try to tell us we can't adopt if we want to when we get back from NY.

By the same token, how long before we see Paedophilia, incest, rape, and other forms of sexual perversion granted special rights?? Consent notwithstanding!

All but the tile backsplash. The countertops look amazing. I tried for an underwater look and believe I succeeded. I should put up some images...

While I don't have pictures of the original horrible kitchen, I do have the emptied room and steps to get it where it is now.

Underwater? We're putting in new countertops. Going for recycled crushed glass. Granite is soooo two years ago!

Yeah, I have the appearance of ripples over the concrete countertops that I epoxied over so I didn't have to seal it all the time... It looks very cool.
