He said personal choices come before safety. That means he believes drunk driving, a personal choice, is on a higher level than an innocent person losing their life because of that choice.

Why can't you admit you think it's OK to drive drunk. That's a personal choice, something you say is above someone else's right to life.

why can't you admit you're a cowardly failed american? why can't you admit you're wrong about your position? why can't you admit you're too afraid to answer a legal question?
 
That's your choice. He's, more than once, said liberty and freedom comes before safety. Tell me what you think that means.

it means that constitutional processes, stops with cause and presumption of innocence, are more important long term and in the aggregate, than any one instance of a bad thing that might happen from a refusal to violate these hard won norms.
