The Republicans on the Senate Finance and Homeland Security committees, then chaired by Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, respectively, issued their first report on Biden’s business dealings in September 2020. The 87-page report said Biden had “cashed in” on his name, but Johnson said in an interview before its release that the report included “no massive smoking guns.”

Twitter is a small slice of news and not serious news at all. The real story is why other media, real stations dedicated to news left it to die. That is because they had no story. It was a fake cobbled together by unreliable right-wing sources.

It is because the Left dominates the news. Hell CBS just decided last week two years later that the laptop is real. They hired an expert to examine the data TWO YEARS LATER. They could have done it much earlier but just ignored it. They know the House investigation in January will make them look bad so they got ahead of the story.
