ethically (and legally) appropriate application of deadly force

What did Zimmie think when he strapped on and went out into the rain looking to confront some black kid because "they're always getting away with this"?

I am more curious what Trayvon thought when he jumped Zimmerman and started beating his ass MMA style. Perhaps he thought he would teach this cracka a lesson? What lesson would that be?

A firearm is a great responsibility. All I suggest is we take it seriously. And yes, I agree if someone forces you into a situation you have to defend your self you are able, and I think morally required to defend yourself and others. I really don't like whimps. But I also don't like John Wayne or Chuck Bronson movie heros acting tough and getting someone killed.

I think it was taken very seriously when Zimmerman was forced to pull his to stop some young black thug from beating him MMA style. I bet if that were you, you would have done the same thing.

STREET not equal to GARAGE. FAIL!

My point was 'baiting'.

I watched a show on TV that took place in a NYC subway platform late at night. The 'john' played like he was drunk and had a nice watch and necklace on. The Detectives (and camera) were hidden. Just waiting for someone to take advantage of the 'john'. Sure enough, some guy grabbed his stuff and was immediately tackled.

Probably sacred, like really, ... not the I'm-scared-I-get-to-kill-you-cause-you're black now" kinda scared. Not the I-need-an-alibi kinda scared.

But if Zimmerman was so intent to kill someone, as has been suggested; then wouldn't a few extra rounds make sure the deed was done?

...and why wait until the young black thug gets the drop on him right? Just cap the little bastard while he was leaving the store! :rofl2:
