No, it doesn't. A health code does not stop (or even reduce) food poisonings from happening. There are MANY more restaurants than 'health code police'. They can't be everywhere at once.
Cops do not reduce the chance of robbery. Cops can't be everywhere at once. It can take quite a while for them to respond, actually. What reduces the chance of robbery is having a gun (or other type of weapon, but a gun is generally most effective) on your person. There are other ways to reduce the chance of robbery as well, but cops are not one of those things.

You are correct in that there is no point in pursuing it. Anywhere I have ever lived such inspections are carried out at the county level. You picked Washington State, where I happen to live. No strawman involvement here.
Its really a very simple concept called deductive reasoning. (but its easy understanding why someone that has no cognitive connection to logic and reason would look like a deer caught in the headlights of oncoming traffic.)

Example: They "claim" they are acceptive of all lifestyles and demand political correctness from others. The first words out of their mouths.....they accuse someone of preforming a homosexual act or directly call them a homosexual.
How is this identifiable with liberalism? It raises the obvious question....if they are supportive of homosexuality and completely accept it within their protective ranks.....WHY....do they assume projecting another as a homosexual is an INSULT? They must first believe it to be a insult themselves as they are drawing upon their own "ID" (the inner hidden desire that lies within the mind) to project this supposed insult.
