'Fat troops' fallout continues as some Texas Guardsmen sent home over fitness concerns

Did Biden do a damn thing to end the epidemic of obesity in America?

What the Biden puppeteers did do to the military was inflict on the ranks Trans, racial/gender quotas, and Slashed Budgets. But that is not surprising, considering many of those pulling Biden's puppet strings were infiltration agents of the Chinese Communists and Iranian Radical Muslims.

Obama3 was a complete disaster for the American Military.

And before you start in with "Trump is Fat", Trump is an 80 year old politician. Most military are retired by age 45.

This was Donald Trump at age 45, in 1990, 35 years ago:

Trump looked better than 80% of American Males at age 25, when he was at military retirement age, of 45.

He looks far better today at age 80, than any Leftie alive will look at age 70ish, when they die.

Ace Frehley, lead guitarist for KISS, died at age 74, he is a 2023 picture.

Yep, getting old, makes most men get a bit thick around the middle.

He was still a great guitarist, but not the Sex Symbol he was at age 19.

That's being human.

Freud was a coke head, his ideas on sexuality and gender are best left in the dirt.
His views were older and typical of the times, but still valid in the some perspective.

What parts of his views do you disagree? Penis Envy like Perry Pud-Puller and a few other MAGA morons? That strikes me as more cultural than genetic.

B. F. Skinner, who died 50 years after Freud, seems more reasonable.

Operation Dessert Storm has officially begun. The 82nd Chairborne has boots on the ground, with support from the Marinara Corps, Meal Team 6, and the National Lard. Let's hope this doesn't turn into another Battle of the Bulge. Semper Pie!Operation Dessert Storm has officially begun. Ever since the Persian Gulf War, it has been well known that physical standards in red state National Guards are ignored. They are just trying to get free healthcare, and some extra dollars. The worst is that many times they are not fit enough to be deployed, BUT ARE STILL KEPT IN THE NATIONAL GUARD!!!
I don't ever remember seeing a squad of California National Guard this grotesquely obese.

Texas is an extremely fat state, so it stands to reason the Texas National Guard has to overlook fitness standards and operate it's state guard as basically a welfare system.

They have M4s, dipshit, and know battle tactics. And are disciplined.
Do check the gear they're toting, I bet you couldn't do that. :BKick:

They may surprise U.S. and bet back in fighting trim in 12 months of sacrifice. Some of them anyway. It is not easy staying in shape as a part time warrior. Their Civilian half of life tends to make them fat and stressed out. But we have things like Ozympic today, which will help.

It is far, far easier to stay in top shape as active duty.

They were willing to serve our nation, even though their situation put them at significant risk. How many Lefties have ever served anyone but themselves.

I'm curious on NG activation rules. Maybe these are the only ones who agreed to go to Chicago while others begged off to work their day jobs?

It is genetically modified food.

But it is also the stress of life under the Biden/Obama3 inflation, with illegals getting a free-lifestyle a National Guard member could never dream of, while trying to balance military fitness training, with getting an education at Woke Colleges, being threatened by Karens, BLM, an the Sharia College Committee.

It is very difficult to be patriotic, but still be there to change the diapers, work your civilian shift, cook dinner and repair the broken clutch on the beater your wife drives to work..

It is relatively easy to spend you free hours at the base gym, sleep in the barracks, and eat at the chow hall.

All the while, these guys are under constant threat of being accused, probably falsely, and making some wrong pronoun comment, and getting kicked out of service, which they love.

No, they are NOT fit for war. Give them a chance to correct that.

Things are difficult in America. Particularly for multiple deployment members.

Many commit suicide.

Reserves haven't been ready to deploy to anywhere foreign for quite some time.

That may be true.

My daughter is a NG Captain. She was Active Duty Army for her first two deployments in the ME. She recently, after her 3rd remote, solo, year long deployment, in a war torn African Nation, and then went through an extremely bitter divorce.

After the Divorce, she let herself go for a few months, and packed on 25lbs. She got orders, and lost it all, and passed her PT test ahead of all her male company members. She about killed herself doing it. Modern medicine helped, but it was extremely tough.

She is one tough soldier.

I hope she still has some relationship with her three teen kids, when she gets back.

Work / Service / Life balance is HARD.

NG members make a much larger sacrifice than most Active Duty people. They have to live in three worlds.

Being deployed more of the year than not is a strain on families.

Being deployed more of the year than not is a strain on families.

Its a strain on the extended families, the TaxPayers, and the ZeitGeist of the the Nation too.

We need to stop trying to fix foreign nations.

We need to deport ALL of the Illegals. That money should have been spent on our patriots and service men and women.
