Sandra Fluke is joining the long list of California Democrats running for Rep. Henry Waxman's soon-to-be vacated Congressional seat.



Fluke, the birth control advocate who Rush Limbaugh called a "slut", has filed the necessary paperwork to seek an endorsement from the California Democrat Party for a run.

That's all the left needs to support her, isn't it?

Plus, Limbaugh called her a slut. That should help.

And Storm's comment is interesting. Does he advocate that only wealthy people who can finance their own campaigns should be allowed to run for Congress?

I agree. Lots of angry, hate-filled people will be bent on "avenging her honor", to the exclusion of considering anything else, I imagine.


Not sure how they'll be punishing Rush Limbaugh by voting for a woman who may or may not be the best available candidate, but that's how these things work, isn't it, Commander?
 
"exclusion of anything else"? I don't think so. I think there are many variables in deciding who a good candidate will be... and the democratic primary in that district is tantamount to the election so the democrats know who they pick will almost certainly serve. They'll pick wisely, I trust.

I think the knee-jerkers will reflexively donate to/vote for "the woman that Limbaugh called a slut" without any other consideration, Commander...I should put up a "Fluke" fund-raising site. :rofl2:
 
Will I be happy if a constitutionally qualified democrat holds a seat in a predominately democratic district? Of course I will.

It ought not to come as a surprise that democrats hope to see fellow democrats elected to office.
 
focus primarily? no.

I certainly would expect others to let people answer the questions that are posed to them, however.
