Gingrich's personal persona in the press with pretty negative, because of many things, including his personal life...a favorite target of attack that the Democrats favor
to use against all their perceived enemies...especially Republicans...Dems are masters in the art of using personal destruction.
At least 12 Republicans had resolved after several conference calls not to vote for Gingrich under any circumstances in their next Speaker election....
He stepped down because he was no longer an effective leader in the House...simple really...
Monica's blue dress was the material proof Clinton lied under oath, committed perjury, that being one of accusations in the Articles of Impeachment....
The blue dress and the blow job would have been irrelevant if Clinton would not have lied under oath.....getting a blow job and /or blowing your wad on
some interns dress/face/shoes/hair...whatever, is not against the law....................and were not mentioned in the Articles....

your own post proves my point. you say that a blow job had nothing to do with Clinton's impeachment, then you say that Monica's blue dress (which was the result of a blow job) was the material proof of his lying under oath. SO... it clearly had a great deal to do with Clinton's impeachment.
It wasn't the cheating you ignorant dunce; it was Cintons obstruction of justice and lying under oath. Cheating is not even the issue here; it is the incredib.e lack of good judgement being an executive and screwing around with your employees. I don't care if someone cheats; hell, it is almost common place these days. But if you violate workplace rules, you get fired.
Sex in the workplace, particularly by executives who are married, is a particularly stupid thing to do and in almost any major corporation, grounds for termination.

The bj had nothing to do with impeachment, the proven sexual contact was proven by the come stains on the dress...
As a matter of fact, even without the dress, the witnesses testimony was also proof of his lying under oath....as was his admission of guilt after the impeachment.

without the blue dress, the case was much more difficult to prove... do you deny that?
A rapist is not charged with "DNA found in vagina"....he is charged with rape that can be proven in a variety of ways, DNA being but one....
it could just as well be blood evidence, fingerprints or eye witnesses, or even circumstantial evidence....but evidence nonetheless.....
