For the gaslighted mental cases on the left who think Matt is a sex trafficker - Justice Department drops sex trafficking probe of Rep. Matt Gaetz

And is guilty of that crime after the jury decides he is guilty. Trump is a convicted felon.

Has he been charged and convicted yet? Simple yes or no.

How many times do you have to be told before this sinks into your head? Are you ears so blocked with shit you can't hear?

More projection from the brainless buffoon.

Sex with an underage minor is not a federal crime unless the minor is taken across state lines. The Feds didn't investigate if Gaetz had underage sex in Florida since it isn't a federal crime. Pull your head out of your ass and clean out your ears.

Once again, neither the State, nor the Feds, charged Gaetz with anything. I do wish you had a brain. Then you wouldn't be a Democrat.

Wow. You really don't seem to understand that the conviction happens when the jury's guilty verdict is read in court.

So, the Judge has convicted Trump of these charges? You really are too stupid for words. :palm:

Trump has been convicted of 34 felonies.

Wrong; he has been accused and found guilty by a kangaroo court and biased jury. He has not been convicted. We are waiting for that when the farcical jurist decides to convict and sentence Trump.

I wish you had a brain. Really, I do.

Do you know why this clown jurist still has not convicted and sentenced Trump? Because they want to dupe mentally unhinged halfwits like you that Trump is guilty.

Until he is formally convicted and sentenced, he cannot appeal. Kind of like how third world justice systems work.

Jurors in the New York criminal trial against former President Donald Trump have convicted him of 34 felony counts of falsified business records.

They found him guilty which was a farce. He is still waiting for sentencing to be convicted dumbass.

They are holding off on that because they don't want him to be able to appeal. It's despicable to anyone with even half a brain. That would exclude you.

But simply offering a plea of guilty at a hearing does not mean that the “conviction” has occurred.
Generally, the resolution of the case has two stages: the plea part and the sentencing part.
In many states, defendants have the right to request a break between the plea portion of the case and the sentencing portion of the case.
Sentencing is the part of the case where the judge tells you what your punishment is, and makes it official.

Trump didn't plead guilty. He was found guilty by a jury.
When someone pleads guilty, it isn't official until the judge accepts it.
When someone goes to trial, it's official when the jury verdict is read in court and the judge accepts the jury verdict and it becomes a public record.

You probably shouldn't rely on an AI written piece for your legal advice.

Here is the American Bar Association description.

Steps in a Trial

Judgment
The decision of the jury doesn t take effect until the judge enters a judgment on the decision - that is, an order that it be filed in public records.

Here is the jury verdict sheet which is public record

Here is the list of public records from the trial with all the motions and the jury verdict

If someone isn't convicted until after they are sentenced then how the is the court able to order them to meet with the probation office? The simple answer is the judge can't order that without a guilty verdict. You might want to read how the US Constitution uses the word convicted.

The soreness continues.

See if this helps...

Speaking strictly on my own behalf, I want the left to understand this.

I don't care about President Trump being branded a felon, whether he technically is, or not.

Deal with it.

Trump didn't plead guilty. He was found guilty by a jury.

Where did I state that Trump pleaded guilty you mentally challenged dunce?

When someone pleads guilty, it isn't official until the judge accepts it.

See above, brainless wonder.

When someone goes to trial, it's official when the jury verdict is read in court and the judge accepts the jury verdict and it becomes a public record.

Yes, and then the Jurists convicts the person with a sentence. That hasn't occurred here.

You probably shouldn't rely on an AI written piece for your legal advice.

You probably rely on MSNBC for yours. You really are that fucking ignorant.

Still flailing and deflecting. A better question is how does a person who is charged with a crime appeal without being sentenced?

A much better question is, guilty of what? The prosecution never proved there was a crime, and the mentally challenged Democrat jurist gave the jury a cornucopia of crimes to choose from. When has that ever happened in America? We know it happens in third world shit holes.

I apologize for assuming you were able to read at least at the sixth grade level.

An explanation of what happens when someone pleads guilty without a trial has no bearing on what happens at a trial where a jury decides guilt. Trump didn't plead guilty so what happens when someone pleads guilty does not apply to his case. In a jury trial the conviction happens when the judge accepts the jury's verdict and that verdict is entered in to the court proceedings.

No apology necessary. I accept your lack of mental acuity, intelligence and education. You reek of ignorance with every post.

The jury found Trump guilty of crimes which means they felt the prosecution proved the crimes beyond a reasonable doubt. Which crime that he was convicted of was not clearly laid out? (Evidence doesn't have to be accepted beyond a reasonable doubt which is what you are demanding. Only guilt needs to meet the beyond a reasonable doubt standard.)
Here is page1 of the jury verdict sheet.

You don't seem to get it. Since Trump did not plead guilty the process of conviction for someone that pleads guilty doesn't apply to him. The process for someone found guilty by a jury applies to him. The process for conviction at a jury trial is the conviction happens when the judge accepts the jury's verdict and enters it into the public record. The fact that the jury verdict sheet is a public record makes Trump a convicted felon.

Wrong. But you appear to be either incredibly gullible, inherently dishonest, or severely stupid.

Once the dishonest partisan hack jurist finally convicts and sentences Trump, he will be able to appeal this clown court conviction and win.

Which crime that he was convicted of was not clearly laid out?

You might want to read the actual transcript for the answer to that dumb question.

Merchan said that there is no need to agree on what occurred. They can disagree on what the crime was among the three choices.

Three choices of which none were proven? Third world.

Judge Merchan told the jury that in order to find the defendant guilty, the prosecutors are required to prove that on or about Feb. 14, 2017, former President Trump personally made or caused a false entry in business enterprise, specifically an invoice from his ex-lawyer Michael Cohen.

Seriously? That's laughable on its face.

"To find him guilty, jurors must determine that Mr Trump not only had a hand in falsifying records but did so in order to commit or conceal another crime – specifically, that he violated state law against conspiracy to influence an election by “unlawful means.”

Those “unlawful means” include violations of the Federal Election Campaign Act, the falsification of other business records, and violations of state and federal tax laws."

Yet, the FEC stated they could find zero evidence there was any election interference. Meanwhile, this jurist, this prosecutor and this jury, by manufacturing a felony out of a misdemeanor that had already exhausted the statute of limitations, attempted to do just that.

I don't know why I am bothering arguing with an uneducated leftist liar who brainlessly bloviates MSNBC talking points.
