Giuliani: Ease Burdens on Business

And Cawacko, is your company growing more overseas because of the onerous burden of Sorbanes Oxley?

My company is growing overseas because that's where the opportunity is. Our office is teaming with auditors though as a result of S-O and it is a damn hassle. My company is not going to move HQ overseas but it doesn't change the burden and inefficiencies of S-O.

Stop, I'm crying.

Stop, I'm crying.

I offer you a tissue. You can laugh but when you (the collective you and you individually) complain about growth in the U.S. and subsequent job growth (or lack thereof) regulations such as S-O, which you laugh off, play a role in slowing our economy.

Is that a threat? I suggest the people block your company all access to domestic markets if that's gonna be you're fucking attitude. Let's go.

Because I don't bend over and ask the government to place more onerous and burdensome regulations on business we should be kicked out of doing business in the U.S.?

That's one way to look at it I guess.

So would moving h-q overseas be the "deal breaker" for you ? Too far? Is it? A bit too far?

We are not moving our HQ overseas. That has not been discussed. If our company did I would still be doing the same job I am now in the same location. A company HQ relocation would not effect me. It's the senior management that would be effected and I am not part of senior management.

Once again I guess I am not understanding where you are coming from.

So as to not misrepresent or misunderstand what you believe or are saying my interpretation is, you don't mind additional regulation on U.S. businesses, you don't want U.S. businesses to go overseas and I'm not quite sure how you feel about U.S. bussinesses doing business overseas.

Where is the ledger kept that records the value of americans having a way to live?

There are a lot of corporations out there that are like mine. I've described briefly how we operate from a global perspective. What, if any, problem do you have with it?

The interests of corporations are not always consistent with the needs of people, or the rights of citizenship. Given this situation, the influence of corporations on the government has created a government that is hostile to it's own people, and seeks to warp society according to the dictates of corporations, which, as you said, care only about their profit.

Let's drop this whole concept that what's good for corporations is good for americans. It's just a lie at this point.

Ass, I have never seen you say anything about how corporations help people. Don't throw this "not always" stuff at us now, its weird...

Ending your sentence with an ellipses doesn't make you seem more hip, dismissive, funny, ironic, or understated. Just so you know...
