You don't hear the lefties saying anything about whites being disenfranchised by voter ID laws. What can be concluded from that is either the requirements are more stringent for blacks vs. whites or they don't believe blacks are as capable of doing the same thing as well.

They blocked measures to secure the election, and it isn't Mitch's first effort, coupled with Billy Barr's moves to make sure any complaints on election tampering goes thru him pretty much signals their intent
