Thanks for the confirmation....as I said, it's no surprise you don't have the ability to discuss the facts in regard to her history.....nor do they seem to interest you...what a shame...I'll assume that you are now amused.

Aw, c'mon- we even care about yours.
Yet you don't see any climate realists advocating blowing off their education and protesting against something they know nothing about or protesting against nothing in general like the Occupy Wall Street nonmovemt.
The strategy is to accuse others of what you yourself are guilty of and the dummies buy into it.
"The strategy is to accuse others of what you yourself are guilty of and the dummies buy into it." This? That's a "quote" I borrowed from one of the femlibchick socks here I'll let them knowYou sound just like a Trumpist PR drone. Fox News fan ?
Well, we care that Toxic Top keeps it away from us. lol You're right though -- it IS very sad to watch her come here day after day, spewing her hate and envy for a child not very well cloaked as "concern," isn't it?

The strategy is to accuse others of what you yourself are guilty of and the dummies buy into it. You know what they call that, don't you? Keep trying, though...That's correct- you are characterized by the strategy that you espouse. That others agree is news to nobody.
That, and especially Breitbart, which often has all the best brown-people-behaving-horribly "news" stories that are then shared on social media. But there's no racism to see here, folks, none at all.
But back to Greta....you do understand the issues she has that are cause for concern...don't you?
So, you don't understand nor do you care to....as I thought...Sure. Global warming and morons such as you- to name but two.
Where do you get this "blowing off their education" bit? I just posted that Greta completed the school year with 14 "A's" and 3 "B's." Kids everywhere should blow off their education if that's the result of it.
1. This is your post I've been talking about.
2. You denigrated the experiences of these people and I responded with information about them.
3. You responded with this:
4. I responded that microbiology and environmental geography are most definitely sciences that AOC and Trudeau studied, i.e. "scientific background."
5. You responded with this non sequitur:
Hope this clears it up for you.
I went to a shitty pubic school at her age and would have failed with her attendance record. Showing up is part of the real world. I might be the most knowledgable practitioner in the world but it would be useless unless I showed up.
Not when the alternative is , e.g., public schools in Louisiana. I'd definitely be against it when teachers controlled the students rather than the other way around and discipline reigned during my matriculation.. Does this mean you're against home schooling?
Only after completing secondary education . Not as a substitute for it.What about cyber schools?
Viewpoint: What the ancient Greeks can teach us about Greta Thunberg trolls
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-50014575
It may appear that the trolling of women is an unpleasant by-product of the internet era.
In fact, the tactics used are remarkably similar to those employed in ancient times, especially if you compare the trolling of Greta Thunberg and the way the ancient Greeks used to treat "hysterical" women.
Girls and women who speak out or express opinions are often subjected to abuse online, intended to intimidate and silence them.
Climate activist Greta Thunberg is a prime example of this. As the teenager continues to speak out about the impending environmental problems caused by climate change, she is subject to greater and greater amounts of abuse.
She has repeatedly been called "hysterical", and "mentally ill", and has been the target of social media death threats.
The 'hysterical woman' myth
While these online platforms are relatively new, the threats themselves are not.
For those of us working in Ancient Studies, it is easy to spot a pattern here stretching back across millennia.
As far back as 2,500 years ago, in ancient Greece, girls and women were controlled in similar ways.
Greta has become, for many, an icon of resistance, of speaking truth to power. In this, she resembles the mythical Greek heroine Antigone.
Fast forward 2,000 years, and while misogyny may be culturally hardwired, the relatively recent creation of social media has facilitated it in particularly damaging ways.
These platforms have allowed anonymous attacks and enabled campaigns targeted against individual women.
Women in the public sphere can now expect to be bombarded with memes and threats on social media by a brigade of online trolls.
Is 'troll-slaying' the answer?
