Won't be putting a scope on that. I gotta big bag o' bullets, too. Hope the front of the bolt didn't spin around wrong or anything for the headspace McGimmick.
The sights on mine are better than those pictured. Adjustable and very precise.
A friend gave it to me to bring it back to life, and I did what I knew how to do at the time; I know more now, but it's too late.
It's functional. Not bad for a WW1 gun. 10 rds of .303. It's reliable. Bore's kinda pitted. Somebody didn't clean it. From 1917.
Not exactly the bestest home defense weapon. The concussion could mess you up if you shoot it indoors.
For home defense, you want little pop-pop stuff. Things that don't have a sonic blast and are 1000 fps or less.
