Yes, I suppose a direct flight from where you live would be difficult. I once spent 12 hours at Dubai airport because of delays.

That reminds me, my friend who lives in Vancouver used to be a monumental drinker but he's reformed somewhat now. Anyway we arranged to meet in Thailand a few years back and the twat nearly got himself locked up at Tokyo airport for being drunk.
