There are lots of things I disagree with the Alt-Right on, but I can at least respect their honesty. If you ask them if they believe in Democracy, they'll just admit that no, they believe in Fascism. You Republicans are too pussy to just be honest with yourselves.

Democracy is left-wing. The divide between Left and Right comes from the French Revolution. The Left wanted Democracy, the Right did not. This is why today the Right is so easily swayed by Fascism. They never really accepted Democracy.

Every political stance is an opinion. It's my opinion that we should have Democracy and freedom of speech. Conservatives, such as Saint Trump, believe we should have Fascism. We have a difference of opinion here. And the reason you're so angry is because you know I'm right.

Frankly, I think the left is doing a great job of subverting free speech already through media conglomeration. Since media in general is based mostly out of liberal enclaves (NYC, LA, Silicon Valley), woke capitalism rules the airwaves.

Conservative viewpoints are largely relegated to talk radio, Fox News, and certain internet sites.

So while this doesn't involve the state silencing people, it has a similar effect. If current trends continue, freedom of speech will effectively become archaic. Only certain narratives will be allowed, for fear of losing your job or worse.

Democracy is and was always a blight and cancer, considered the worst form of government along with Tyranny.

This is why America rightfully prevented any notion of "direct democracy" on a state or national level, instead requiring elected officials and an electoral college; the intent, of course was to keep the degenerate slave class from having any direct say in the elections, and for good reason.

If anything, discussions should be about abolishing the "popular vote", not the electoral college, as well as reinstatement of literacy tests of some kind.

I'm all for restricting Democracy to people with an at least average IQ. But if we're able to do that, what would be wrong with direct Democracy?

Democracy has never been perfect, but it's been a lot better than the alternative.

If democracy is left wing, then how come the governments that have been born out of the most left wing movements have largely been dictatorships? (Soviet Union, Maoist China, Khmer Rouge, North Korea, etc.)

Look, history repeats itself a lot. Many left wing movements might have good cause for revolts, but they tend to result in a whole lot of bloodshed and worse authorities than their predecessors.

The American Revolution was an anomaly. We got lucky that the Founding Fathers weren't typical revolutionaries. They actually did support the concept of limited government more than most.
