I call it a fictional hellhole in your own head. If you're an American, you have more freedom of speech than ever. Clearly, you can say every retarded thing that enters your vaccum tube of a head, without much consequence. In the 19th century, depending on your skin hue, you'd be strung up merely for raising your voice at the wrong person. Shit's better than ever in terms of freedom.

This reminds me of this woman I saw on TV once in a news segment....she had just lost all of her home and everything in it in a natural disaster....she had no money and not much of a job (the job might be gone too)....the News person asked "So what are you going to do now?", her response looking him in the eye incredulous "I am going to rebuild"....News person asks "How are you going to do that, you have nothing" to which she said "Well, what else am I going to do?".

I would like to think that we are not going back into the dark ages.

I think we are in an age that is "Coming into light"!

This world crisis is revealing a lot of things:

Our medical system is broken. vulnerable to pandemics, underfunded, ill-equipped, under-staffed, NONE OF WHICH IS THE FAULT OF THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY!

We learned what can happen when our president does not use good judgement and does nothing substantial for 90 days to prevent the spread of a pandemic or prepare for the worst.

We learned that the Republican party led by Donald Trump cares more about the economy than the lives of Americans!

We learned that science is right and Donald Trump was wrong!

We learned that Joe Biden was absolutely right about what he said in January about the dangers of the virus and how Donald Trump was the wrong president to handle the crisis!

Those are just a few of the things I learned- But I would also be happy to learn what any of you people have personally learned during the crisis!
