Hey remember when Flash said the GOP wouldn't go after gay marriage or birth control?

Believe them?

Yes, believe them.

Why do you believe them when they say there's no validity to other challenges when Thomas released a concurrent opinion that there is?

These Nazis lied to your face, Flash.

Why do you trust anything they say? Is it because your natural inclination is to always cede to authority? That makes you an authoritarian.

You just told us they did not say those protections are safe.

Because you can't trust them, Flash.

They already lied to you.

It is much easier to make predictions and insults than actually reading the cases. Lazy ass.

Flash, you fucking moron, if there are 6 Nazi judges and two of them (Beer Keg and Penis Head) have written opinions, how many Nazi judges are left?

There is no law to challenge.

This is like Deja Vu...

Not yet, but there will be very soon.

Some States Already Are Targeting Birth Control
But in the fine print of their measure, those Republicans revealed that their ambition wasn’t only to target a familiar abortion foe. They were going after specific forms of birth control as well, notably, emergency contraceptives, often sold under the brand name Plan B, and intrauterine devices, known as IUDs. GOP lawmakers tried to stop Missouri’s Medicaid agency from paying for those forms of contraception.
https://www.pewtrusts.org/en/resear...me-states-already-are-targeting-birth-control

I'd say in about 18 months, gay marriage, contraception, and/or consensual same-sex relationships will lose their Constitutional protections.

Then you'll come on JPP and say the same thing you said with regard to Roe...that you didn't think it would happen.

So since you were wrong about Roe, what makes you think you're right about Obergefell or Lawrence or Griswold????

Like the warning the 2020 election would be cancelled?

Again, you're lying about what I said because you're a habitual liar.

I said Trump would try to cancel the election, and he did try to cancel it...several times in several different ways.

You took "Trump will try to cancel the election" to "Trump will cancel the election", dropping the "try to" because you were desperate for a gotcha because I made you feel dumb and small, and straw men are all you are capable of doing because you have no critical thinking skills.

You're a fucking liar and a fraud, and everyone knows it.

LMAO!

Flash seems to forget that all it takes for SCOTUS to hear a case is the consent of 4 justices...he makes a big deal out of Kavanaugh and Alito, but seems to forget that they are just 2 of 6 Nazi judges, and the other four will simply choose to hear cases that further erode our rights because that's what they're setting out to do.

Also, as we've seen, Roberts Court isn't bound to anything they have said before.

So Flash, when I tell you today that SCOTUS' goal is to erode all those decisions and more, just like we told you in 2016 that you arrogantly dismissed, why are you pretending it isn't?

Because you are always an alarmist and are never right. Dobbs was an exception. It takes years to get a case to the Supreme Court and only then does the rule of four occur. The SC only hears about 10% of the cases appealed to it

You have no clue whether the SC wants to "erode" all those decisions. The party would be committing political suicide for any state to prohibit interracial marriage, contraception, the freedom to send your child to a private school, or forced sterilization.

You just had Republicans vote to support the gun control bill because their consultants told them they were losing support in the suburbs and that is where the greatest support for gun control occurs.

Your prediction for November?

When you claim the sky if falling about everything that happens you are bound to be right sooner or later.

LMAO!

So it's my fault your instincts are piss-poor and that you don't want to listen to anyone who dares ruin the fantasy in which you live.

Since you were wrong about Roe, what makes you think you're right about anything else?

We already know you have to concoct straw men just to make yourself feel better for being made a fool of by someone half your age, with judgment far better than yours.

Being right about one issue should not change my mind about being rational and going by past history and not believing all the hysterical idiots predicting catastrophe at every news event.

You weren't right about this issue, and it's a pretty major issue to be wrong about.

The fact is that your personal judgment and instincts are shit.

The reason they are shit is because no one in your pathetic, meaningless life has ever challenged you to be a better version of the person you are.

Instead, your life has been one of accommodation and entitlement...you think you are entitled to your reactionary extremism because of what I just wrote above.

So since you were wrong about Roe, what other shit have you said that you're probably wrong about?

What will happen in November? Will Democrats gain or lose seats in Congress?

I don't know and I don't care...what I care about is why you think you can continue skating by on your privilege when your judgment is demonstrably fucked up?

This country is totally fucked, even if the Democrats win both chambers this Fall because of the fascist SCOTUS, of which several members purjured themselves in front of Congress.

So I'm not sure why you think those other privacy rights will stand after they've already told you where they're going next?

Again, you're lying about what I said because you're a habitual liar.

I said Trump would try to cancel the election, and he did try to cancel it...several times in several different ways.

You took "Trump will try to cancel the election" to "Trump will cancel the election", dropping the "try to" because you were desperate for a gotcha because I made you feel dumb and small, and straw men are all you are capable of doing because you have no critical thinking skills.

Nope. You were wrong about what Kavanaugh and Alito said and you can't even remember what you said:

LV426: "I still don't think we are going to have elections in November."

"Step 1: Delay or cancel primaries (already happened)
Step 2: Oppose mail-in balloting by destroying the post office (already happening)
Step 3: Cancel the general election out of concerns for "safety"; concerns that could have been addressed, if not for Step #2."

I told you some states automatically cancelled presidential primaries if they had no opponent. You told me I was a liar and then admitted I was right.

Are you now admitting they said those rights are safe?

Yes, in their confirmation hearings which were then reversed when the time came for an actual judgment.

They lied to you, Flash...why do you believe anything else they say?

We both know judicial appointees never give their opinion about hypothetical cases during their confirmation hearings.

Which was why they were asked directly about the Roe decision, which isn't hypothetical.

In their hearings, they said Roe was settled precedent, but in their decision released last week, they reversed that.

So they told you one thing at your confirmation hearing, but then told you a different thing when they got the job.

So why do you believe two of them when they say other rights aren't next???

If you read Dobbs you will see that they gave a lot of support to precedent.

The Dobbs decision reverses precedent, Flash...that is the sum total.

Wow...what a fucking moron.

Obergefell overturned a 1972 case. Did those justices lie about supporting precedent and did you yell and scream about overturning precedent?

Were they asked about that in their confirmation hearings? Pull up the clips, Flash!

Obergefell was decided in 2015, how many of the justices who made that decision in 2015 were asked about it in their confirmation hearings? Put up or shut up, Flash!

What you are doing now is sophistry; you already lost the debate over Roe and your personal judgment, so what you're trying to do now is confuse the issue of precedence from the bench vs. what someone says under oath.

And you're not very good at it.

LMAO!

Since you were wrong about Roe, what makes you think you're right about anything else?

I just proved you wrong about Alito and Kavanaugh by posting their own words.

I just proved you wrong when you said you did not say the 2020 election was going to be cancelled by posting your own words

I won't even include all the past stuff you got wrong.

Because you are always an alarmist and are never right.

Nope...I've been right about everything.

The left has been right about the right the whole time.

We correctly predicted chaos if Trump was elected, and chaos is exactly what we got.

Liberals made so many warnings, so many times, but the reactionary extremists like you always said we were overreacting, and now that your failures have been placed front and center, suddenly it's an "oops, my bad! no one could have seen it coming".

Yes, in their confirmation hearings which were then reversed when the time came for an actual judgment.

They lied to you, Flash...why do you believe anything else they say?

Surely you don't believe what people say at confirmation hearings when both sides are trying to trick the other into saying something at can be used against them. How naive.

Were they asked about that in their confirmation hearings? Pull up the clips, Flash!
Obergefell was decided in 2015, how many of the justices who made that decision in 2015 were asked about it in their confirmation hearings? Put up or shut up, Flash!

And you're not very good at it.

Were you all screaming and hollering when Obergefell overturned precedent like you are about Roe? It doesn't matter if the nominees were asked about the opinion since they never commit themselves about controversial topics.

Or, were you happy precedent was overturned in that case?

It takes years to get a case to the Supreme Court and only then does the rule of four occur.

Not true, they can hear a case whenever they want...SCOTUS frequently hears cases on short notice.

Like the case they heard about the insurrection that Thomas voted against.

The SC only hears about 10% of the cases appealed to it

Right, but the part you're leaving out is that it's up to the Justice's discretion as to which cases they hear...and all they need are 3 other Justices to go along with it.

You have no clue whether the SC wants to "erode" all those decisions.

Of course I do...Thomas wrote it out plainly for everyone while Beer Keg and Penis Head lied in their confirmation hearings about Roe being settled precedent/law.

Then you have Conservatives passing laws outlawing emergency contraception in places like Missouri...that will probably get challenged and it will go all the way to SCOTUS where they will invalidate the right to privacy for contraceptives along the exact lines Thomas laid out in his Concurrent opinion on Dobbs.

They don't need Beer Keg or Penis Head to hear the challenge to that law, for instance.

You just had Republicans vote to support the gun control bill

The part you leave out is that only 5 Republicans voted for it in the House and only 15 in the Senate.

So you're exaggerating when you say you "just had Republicans vote to support the gun control bill" because only 2% of House Republicans supported it and only 30% of Senate Republicans support it.

Why are you leaving that part out?

You just had Republicans vote to support the gun control bill because their consultants told them they were losing support in the suburbs and that is where the greatest support for gun control occurs.

Only 2% of Republicans voted for it in the House (5 members) and only 30% voted for it in the Senate (15 members).

The overwhelming majority of Republicans voted against the gun control bill.
