Oh, I will not deny it, Judaism has had a huge impact on Western morality and it is why we have had to have the Civil rights, the woman's rights and the LBGT rights movements. We are evolving, we were enlightened!
Not all things that are promoted by religion are moral or good.

I'd disagree. Our Greek heritage has far more to do with that.
It was an answer for Rabbid, you and I would have an intellectual conversation on the subject which would include The Greek philosophers, lol
Yes, I know. Just trying to spark such a conversation in a otherwise failure of a thread.
The Greeks even had an influence on Paul whose influence was huge on Christianity.
Oh all Christianity (well, modern Christianity) was affected by the Greeks. Some would even argue that the individualism emphasis was what the Greeks contributed to the religion.
There is no doubt Platonic thinking had an effect. The dualism of God/Satan for one thing.

Uhhhh no....I don't know what history books you've been reading (If you read any at all), but no.Do you suck left wing progressive ass for a hobby?
One cannot understand western civilized history without it's knowledge of it's moral base starting point .. the laws of Moses.
Since the Greeks developed independently.....no.One cannot understand, comprehend, and begin to understand western literature itself without the acknowledgement of the civilization's starting point at it's base, the laws of Moses.
So you have a source to back this up?Don't give me Greeks pegged pants, everything western society had accomplished including the Greeks and their ideas about Democracy rests on the Laws of Moses as it's foundation.
I'm sorry if you cannot accept the words of Azathoth, god of all creation. You and your religious bigotry can insult me at will .. tailgate party philosopher surrounded by your dudes, you're not going to revise this and get away with it with me here.

A football coach leading a prayer after a game is a very serious issue for you and it should be a non issue if schools belonged to the communities where they reside and not the government.
By your comments you must have flunked biology or it was never offered in your school, talk about being dumbed down.
Praying for the outcome of a football is ridiculous, anyway, use your prayers for the end to world hunger or for peace, not one stupid high school football game. Pray for those players to be decent young men after the game. They don't need to be lead in prayer by the coach, they can pray silently or have a student lead the prayer.
If a player left, how would they be perceived by other players for not praying for the ill brother?
Would it be more acceptable if this student was Muslim, placed his prayer rugs on the floor
