High School Censors Football Coach, Bans Post Game Prayer.

I have been an atheist since high school.

no atheist ever tried to punish me for not believing like they do.

christians are not as nice

yet one family of atheists forced all the students to stop a legitimate student led activity just because of what the one family believed....maybe no atheist punished you, who believed the same thing they believed, but they certainly are willing to punish those who don't believe the same thing they do........this is a case in proof......

Upon notification from the administration of the violation, he accepted full responsibility for the matter, he said.

“When it comes to discipline, whatever you allow, you encourage,” he said. “By me being present, I was encouraging it. This happened because of me and I had to wake up.”

Loria said he at first didn’t realize the implications behind allowing those who didn’t want to take part to walk away from it, but is determined to make sure that future student-led prayer activities do not take place on school property.

They could have ignored it. That's always an option. So a simple yes or no to my question will suffice.

You can ignore it, or walk away. I mean, I'm not forced to listen to you in this thread.....

Not all kids can do that.

Think of it: post-game. Everyone has been a team during the game. The team starts praying. Coach is in the room. Really? You walk out? As adults, we can. As a kid, we'd probably feel pressured to stay and worried about being hassled if we left.
