Yes, parents are quite capable of teaching their children. Why do you pretend to declare otherwise? How do you think one gets to be a public school teacher anyway? By not being good enough at in any field that is in demand and by not being competitive enough in any field to otherwise be successful. Parents on average are far more competent than the public school teachers who probably had to choose between teaching children and asking people if they like fries with their order.

Some parents somewhere can teach kids a bit. There are none that can teach all the disciplines in school, You, of course, think anyone can teach. Teachers have to go to college and learn a lot and then learn how to teach it to kids, all kinds of kids.

Public schools have been turned into defenselessness zones for maximum active-shooter convenience. The are also filled with leftist political curriculum designed to make them 'woke'. They fail to educate students in spelling, grammar, reading, writing, science, mathematics, etc; substituting leftist religions in their place, which are based on hate.

To deny this is to deny the school shootings ever occurring, and to deny the 'woke teachings in schools, and to deny the 'math is racist' BS in schools, and to deny the substitution of things like the Church of Global Warming for science.

Parents are by default the best teaching resource for children, as they have the best interests of their own children at heart. They raise them, they feed them, they teach them their language. They can certainly teach their kids mathematics or science, or find resources and private tutors to assist them, or BOTH.

And teachers unions? What purpose do they serve in providing education? They are there only to serve the teachers, not the students.

IBDaMann did forget one other factor: the NEA, which has the purpose to snuff the life out of any education system by requiring curriculum to substitute government propaganda and leftist religions for 'education'.

The question is not complex. It is only descriptive of what is.

The question stands:

1. Using tax dollars to compulsorily herd children into defenselessness zones for maximum active-shooter convenience while the children are systematically programmed by a leftist political curriculum to be woke, undereducated, scientifically illiterate and mathematically incompetent HATERS (which is just another way of describing public schools),

or

2. Give parents full control of their children's education while allowing the children to be educated in the safety and convenience of their own homes without imposing any tax burden on We the People and without supporting any teachers unions that serve no other purpose than to snuff the life out of any community education program (which is just another way of describing home schooling, complete with any tutors the parents may decide to use to assist them).

Given these two options, which do you prefer? Public schools, with all the problems listed in option 1, or home schooling, with all the description implied in option 2?
