goodfellas is a classic. Even if you hate movies that are 'old' ... it's pretty much impossible to hate. It's a cultural cornerstone. That said, it's kinda violent and stuff, don't know how that fits into your christian lifestyle

I'm not really huge into violent movies or movies without a ton of cussing in it but I have seen a number of movies like that. I don't see myself watching Goodfellas but i'll keep it in mind. The last violent movie with a lot of profanity that i've watched was American Sniper but I wanted to watch that since I remember Chris Kyle's funeral motorcade going through the Austin area.

Good fellows and Casino are both good but they are mob movies and that means Joe uses a certain word quite a lot and violence is just required. Sharon Stone got an Oscar for Casino and deserved it.
If you're in the mood for a mob movie those are excellent choices.
