Christ also knew of the cost of homosexual behavior and taught against it.

Verbiage, please.

The laws, not the orders.
First of all, there was no law that allowed the citizen to kill Jews in Nazi Germany, nor one that told them they must... and the example is therefore an absurdity. There were orders that could be rejected by the brave (likely to lose your life if you do not follow the order). Following the law would mean you would not kill the Jew, it was still murder according to the laws of Germany. It would still be a sin to follow the implied order to kill "these Jews in this camp"... and it is also illegal according to the laws of the land. We call them "War Crimes" and we prosecuted folks even if they weren't Christians for breaking those laws.
when did jesus order jews killed? i missed that part.
Actually, that is the first question folks should ask.
Being homosexual is not a sin, but the bible describes actions that are a sin.
Basically, a man loving a man is not a sin, but a man having sex with a man is... same for a woman. Interestingly, some sexual acts that we think are normal in society would also be a sin. For instance, getting a blowjob is sodomy and it would still be a sin even if it was a man and his wife...lol.
According to Damocles he ordered Christians to follow the laws of their Country.
Homosexuality is intimate relations with a person of the same sex. The word first appeared in Germany as early as 1892. Stemming from the Greek 'homo' (meaning same, equal, or like the same) and the Latin word 'sexual' (pertaining to male and female). The term 'sexual inversion' and 'sodomy' have been used to describe the same behavior. You will also find specific descriptions of this behavior and how it's condemned in Leviticus.
Christ taught to love our fellow man, even those that abuse you. He did not teach that meant to lie with them. Christ never condemned Leviticus or his writings, but taught them as part of the law.
Christians are to follow the just laws of their own country. They are not expected to follow the musings of a tyrant or to uphold unjust laws. Yes...that means they must judge what is a 'just law'. They themselves will be judged by Christ and God on that judgement.
So now that abortion is legal, it becomes acceptable for Christians to have one, its no longer a sin?
Murder: the crime of unlawfully killing a person especially with malice aforethought
to kill (a human being) unlawfully and with premeditated malice
Person: HUMAN, INDIVIDUAL —sometimes used in combination especially by those who prefer to avoid man in compounds applicable to both sexes
Please explain your logic that a zygote is a person, human being or individual.
While a zygote is certainly a human cell, to call it "a human" or a human being or an individual doesn't make sense to me. Please explain your logic.
Abortion is too often murder for the sake of convenience. A selfish act...and a sin. It doesn't matter if abortion is legal or not.
Recreational drugs are legal in places as well, especially pot. They are destructive. They are also a selfish act. They are also a sin. Cigarettes are legal. They are destructive. The harm your health. Their use is a sin.
Guns are legal. Shooting someone with one that is not an act of self defense is a selfish act. Murder is a sin.
Your argument falls rather flat, dude.
Someday you should learn about what sex is for.
Thank you for showing that homosexuality is not a sin.
I didn't. Homosexuality is a sin.
Abortion is not murder. Fallacy fallacy.
A sexual orientation is not a sin.
Abortion is the taking of a human life. It is killing. If done for selfish purposes, it is murder.
Buzzword fallacy.
Christians are to follow the just laws of their own country. They are not expected to follow the musings of a tyrant or to uphold unjust laws. Yes...that means they must judge what is a 'just law'. They themselves will be judged by Christ and God on that judgement.
And it's not "abnormal." People are born homosexuals, just as they are born heterosexuals. I'd actually argue that treating gay people any differently from heterosexuals is an affront to God's creative intent.
The conservative attitude (generally speaking) toward homosexuality is a disgrace. They hide behind the religion and "hate the sin, but not the sinner" platitudes, but so much of their attitude and their actions has a foundation more firmly rooted in hate than love or spirituality. It's typical fear. Something is "different." Something is "not like me."
We need more understanding & tolerance in the world. Much more. If something has no effect on your life - what's it to ya?
