How capitalism works?

The founders recognized the dangers of capitalism and chartered corporations. Their charter could be revoked if they acted again the public good. Corporations have a natural proclivity to go from corporations to oligopolies and finally monopolies.
. Competition is good for consumers. It results in product innovation, price wars, and better service. Those all eat away at profits. The corporate ethos that we somehow accept, is they exist only to maximize profits. The tension between what is good for the country V what is good for corporations is real. They are conflicting. Corporations steal power and money from the people.
We used to break up monopolies. We should do it again.

People living on the same planet are fully within their rights to decide how unified that they wish to be, economically or otherwise..

AssHat has an opinion, whether or not it's an informed one, but it's just an opinion no more valid than those who seek more global solidarity.

Just another synonym for 'global oligarchy'. Theft and tyranny isn't solidarity, twit.

You don't get to speak for the dead. There are no dangers of capitalism or of corporations.
Their charter could be revoked if they acted again the public good. Corporations have a natural proclivity to go from corporations to oligopolies and finally monopolies.
A monopoly can only continue to exist if it's sanctioned by the government. Monopolies don't last long because there always some new company coming along to blow away the monopoly.
Competition is good for consumers.
Yes it is.
It results in product innovation, price wars, and better service. Those all eat away at profits.
WRONG. It's how you make a profit!
The corporate ethos that we somehow accept, is they exist only to maximize profits.
Which is done by producing a product or service cheaper and/or better than the others.
The tension between what is good for the country V what is good for corporations is real.
There is no 'tension'.
They are conflicting.
They are not conflicting.
Corporations steal power and money from the people.
They do not. The money corporations make (like any business) comes from selling their product or service.
We used to break up monopolies. We should do it again.
No need. Monopolies break up themselves. They can only continue to exist if the government is sanctioning the monopoly.
