Have you ever heard of the 5th Amendment?

What happens to you if you are pulled over by a cop and you fail to produce ID? What happens if you fail to submit to a roadside sobriety test? How about refusal of a blood draw or deep lung sample? I don't care if you're wearing a red, white and blue MAGA hat, you're going to jail.

If you enter this country LEGALLY, you are provided with documentation stating you are allowed to be here as long as you obey the rules. If you don't obey the rules, get your ass out and try again when the next demented jackass fossil gets "elected".

They can arrest you for driving without a Drivers License.

They can take your Drivers License if you fail to submit to breath and blood. The S.Ct. has ruled that breath and blood samples are not self incrimination because they do not require mental decisions.

I simply do not understand how the authorities are going to determine many people are here illegally, or who they are going to chose to investigate.

Simple. Start by enforcing the 'real ID' laws and expand these to all cases where ID is required. No real ID, no whatever. That means if an illegal with a driver's license but not a real ID is stopped for a traffic violation, they end up arrested for illegal entry.

If someone refuses to answer any questions from a law enforcement officer, etc., which is their right, the officer does have the option to arrest them and take them to a police station for identification without their consent as they have been arrested. It simply prolongs the process and makes it more painful in the end.
Arrest them for what?

It is not going to be difficult...it will take time.... If you want to come into the country then do it legally.... And if you didn't thank Joe for steering you wrong.....

Its not against the law to not have REAL ID.

You say its not going to be difficult but you cant seem to describe a legal process for how it will happen.

I am a former prosecutor and I cant see how they are going to effectively deport large masses of people.

People who are in the Criminal Justice system will be easier to deport, but others, I just don't see much of it happening.

If they're here legally then they have paperwork .... If not physical copies then it's on file.... And if they are not here legally then they are breaking the law.....correct?
How do you check if someone has physical paperwork on file if they wont tell you their name?
So, if they ask me and I refuse to answer, does that make me an illegal?

If they don't tell authorities their name someone will.... If you refuse to answer that just means you aren't cooperative.... And not very bright... Like I said before... if you don't have anything to hide you wouldn't refuse to cooperate...

first things is stop the illegals from entering. next when arrested if you cant prove you're here legally get the fuck out. next they know who was suspposed to show up for court hearing who didnt track them down and throw them the fuck out. Next check with employers in industries with high illegals in their employ. Prove youre here legally or get the fuck out. Its rather simple dipshit
Hey, you stupid fucking country bumpkin. When the posse asks you to prove you're here illegally, what do YOU provide?

Not one single Trunt has given any thought to immigration enforcement and what it means in real lives. The fucked up demon, Toxic, for example, is the last person who should offer any opinion on this topic.

I understand your feelings that an uncooperative person has something to hide, but it does not answer the question about what evidence they would use to prosecute or deport an uncooperative person?

No, it's not. But it is required by law to board an aircraft and could be made necessary for things like bank transactions (banks are federally regulated), entering contracts, and the like. It is also an indication that the person not having one is unable to get one meaning there is reasonable evidence they may be in the country illegally.

So you believe prosecutors could use the fact that a person does not have a "Real ID" as evidence of them being illegally in the United States?

You think most of these "illegals" you are talking about are taking vacations on airplanes and have American bank accounts?
