The more power you take from We, the People and put into the hands of smaller and smaller groups of people, the more likely you'll run into people being corrupted by it.

Not sure if you are religious, but the whole point about Jesus being in the desert for 40 days and nights was to prove that any human can be corrupted.

While Julius Caesar, who did what Trump tried to do, turned the Roman Republic (corrupt as it was) into a dictatorship, in the end there was Caligula...and a bad end for the Roman people.

b. You can call it whatever you like, Poli, but when you strip Americans of their unalienable rights to be dispensed in drips and drabs at the whims of the elites in charge, yes, dear, you are indeed referencing elites.

c. No. Not the Black Panthers or Mothers Against Drunk Drivers either. OTOH, if any of them does anything unlawful, they should face justice for it.

d. Push tolerance instead of division. Both the Democrats and Republicans have fully embraced the "Separate but Equal" strategy. It's not working any better now than it did 50 years ago.

It is a registered for-profit tax-paying business which provides security for a business, a property or an individual which pays them for the service. And such a business must be "well regulated."

If they can't check that box and they have a group of people training with guns and they have given themselves a name, and they actively recruit new members to pursue some sort of ideology, then that is not well regulated because it doesn't meet the regulations of a security business and is thus illegal.

A business is not a militia.
