How will Trump's presidency be remembered? Name three things.

1. You wish. The President's low regulatory policy aided in growth, pushing it well past the limits that Obama said could not be passed...

Our economy entered a recession in February, before any of the COVID lockdowns started, specifically because of Trump's tax cut and deregulation.

The U.S. entered a recession in February, according to the official economic arbiter
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/08/the...cording-to-the-official-economic-arbiter.html

and Trump's shitty tax cut and deregulation plunged the manufacturing sector into a recession for all of 2019, again, before the COVID lockdowns.

U.S. manufacturing was in a mild recession during 2019, a sore spot for the economy
https://www.washingtonpost.com/busi...mild-recession-during-2019-sore-spot-economy/

But keep entertaining the fallacy that Conservatives know how to manage an economy, even as the economy is now 2 years behind on its pacing, thanks to you and Trump lying about COVID.

When was that? Because if you go down by 33%, but then go up by 33%, you're still 11% down because, math.

It was a German company that made this breakthrough, not us.

With good reason...he's killed over 250,000 people so far because he can't stop lying.

1. Bad mathing... You conflate things and are missing the growth before the 'Rona.
2. Regardless, the vaccine will be available in less than one year from the onset of Covid in the US because the President prepaid that company to produce doses for us and loosened the red tape that would normally cause a vaccine approval to take multiples of years. This is a victory for Trump, even though it makes you cry.
3. LOL, y'all hated him with all your being long before January 2020 and the onset of Covid. You hate him as much as you pretend that republicans hated Obama.

Yet, Warp Speed still produced the quickest ever vaccine ever seen in the United States.

Lies. Pfizer wasn't a part of Warp Speed, and being a cheerleader on the sidelines with your pom-poms and miniskirt doesn't mean you contributed to the win on the field.

What a fucking idiot

Going down 33%, but then going up 33% doesn't make you whole,.

Do I need to physically do the math in this thread for you, or did you pass basic algebra in grade school, you fucking joke?

Lies. Pfizer wasn't a part of Warp Speed, and being a cheerleader on the sidelines with your pom-poms and miniskirt doesn't mean you contributed to the win on the field.

Again liberal stupidity. They pretend that Pfizer operates in a vaccum.

Pfizer used the loosened regulations to get approval in less than one year and received money to produce doses of the vaccine previous to approval of the vaccine from the United States Government so that it would be available once testing took place. There is a reason that the UK won't have this particular vaccine available while the US will, it is because this is not one of the companies that UK prepaid for doses to be manufactured, they bet on different companies...

Basically, your "they weren't part of it" is nonsense. You can't take advantage of the speed up of the process and take money to produce doses of it, like Pfizer did, and then pretend that you didn't participate. While they didn't take government grants like some companies did, they most certainly benefitted form the changes to regulations brought on by Warp Speed.

Trump has not topped Obama's best annual GDP growth, and he never will.

The closest Trump got was in 2018 when he had annual GDP growth of 2.85%, which was lower than Obama's best mark of 2.88%.

The economy entered a recession in February, BEFORE COVID GOT ROLLING.

Manufacturing lost 300,000 jobs in 2019, and the whole manufacturing sector was in a recession for all of 2019.

Conservatism always fails. Always.

Nonsense. Cheerleaders on the sidelines have no bearing on the game being played on the field.

I didn't say it did. You are the one conflating things... The best economy in quite some time happened before the 'Rona dip. Does your forehead visibly slope more when you make stupid claims about other people?

3. Yes, that is an achievement, and will definitely be one of the top three he will be remembered for...

and just to mimic...

Well, I guess the American people weren't impressed with your three top achievements because Lame Duck lost the election.

Oh well, there's always 2024.

iu

BTW, I voted for Reagan twice.

3. LOL, y'all hated him with all your being long before January 2020 and the onset of Covid. You hate him as much as you pretend that republicans hated Obama.

Yeah, cause he's a failure, a racist, is beholden to foreign influence, tried to extort an ally, and called Nazis "very fine people".

Oh, and he completely fucked up babysitting Obama's economic recovery.

Trump is the last President since Hoover to end up with more unemployed people than he started with (and Bush the Dumber was thisclose to joining that club, had it not been for the *millions* of government jobs he created).

It wasn't the best economy before COVID because manufacturing lost 300,000 jobs in 2019 and the sector was in a recession. The entire economy entered a recession in February. Now remind me, when did the COVID lockdowns start? Oh that's right, in mid-March.

Secondly, Trump has never topped Obama's best annual GDP growth. The closest he got was in 2018 but was off by 0.03%.

Thirdly, Trump created fewer jobs in his first three years than Obama did in his last 3.

Finally, 30M people are now unemployed, with 25M of them filing continuing jobless claims. A good share of those workers also lost their health care. This is all thanks to you and Trump who couldn't stop lying about COVID. I mean, you physically couldn't stop lying. It's like a compulsion to lie.

You don't get to have it both ways, even if you are Obama you don't...

Obama spent the last year trying to claim the growth under Trump's administration, why? Not because it sucked, but because it was better than the growth under his Administration. The economy sipped at possibilities under Obama's administration but he consistently used policy to impede growth, that same economy grew under Trump's administration at a rate that Obama had said was impossible during 2016, you know it, they know it, we all know it, even the angry left that tries to rewrite history (redundant I already said you) knows it. While 'Rona got in the way of that economy, and yes in February we already saw some of what was coming because the economy predicts and we react... the reality was that before 'Rona we had more manufacturing jobs, are energy independent, and are still doing better than we have any right to be after 'Rona closed us down.

But just in case you need support from CNN... Here's an article written by them that shows the solid job growth his Administration brought into play, then the 'Rona loss...

https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2020/10/business/us-economy-trump-vs-other-presidents/

So, what I said was very real. Good solid job growth, lowest unemployment ever for some parts of our society (particularly African-American and Latinos, as well as women). There was a reason why folks still were saying they were better off at a rate of 57% in October and it wasn't because the economy sucked before the 'Rona.

Anyway... I'm sure that folks will remember this President differently. But you asked for three things he will be remembered for, and I provided. All three will be something he will be remembered for, even though it makes you cry.

Yes, the economy sucked before COVID. It went into a recession in February. Manufacturing was in a recession for all of 2019. And yes, 2017 was a decent year for growth, but that was all thanks to Obama.

Trump fucked it all up with that dumb tax cut in 2018. Since that tax cut, economic growth has stagnated, job growth has slowed, wage growth for most Americans remained stagnant, 300,000 manufacturing jobs were lost in 12 months, and the DJIA has grown at its slowest pace since the last Conservative recession 10 years ago.

Already spoken to in the previous post. And between 2017 when he took office and the end of 2019 manufacturing added 500,000 jobs. It was not in recession. As you can see by the article from CNN given in the preceding post it didn't hit the fan until February, and we already know what started that mess, that was most definitely the beginning of the 'Rona fall.

The reality you seem to ignore...

The question asked was what he will be remembered for... and all three of those things I said will be three of the things he will be remembered for, even when you try to rewrite history with "angry" as your evidence.

As I said, you can't both say that Obama was the reason Trump's economy was good (Obama says that), and then pretend that it was bad at the same time... You don't get to make up your own facts.

And between 2017 when he took office and the end of 2019 manufacturing added 500,000 jobs.

Well, Trump didn't stop being President after 2019.

Now, there are 138,000 fewer manufacturing jobs than there were the month Trump took office in 2017.

Yeah, I don't believe that anybody blames him for 'Rona losses. I think you will say you do, but you don't and you know that almost nobody does. I maintain the same thing I have from the beginning. I was asked to name 3 things Trump would be remembered for, and I provided 3 things.

[manufacturing] was not in recession.

Yes, it was and still is:
