I have had many interactions with police over my lifetime. Most have been professional. Only one was not. I'll let you guess which one I remember the most.

Police have a rough job. They must be perfect. When they aren't buttholes like you with all day to review it and hindsight, pass judgment on them. You don't feel the fear the danger the anxiety that they do at the time. Still sometimes they make bad decisions. Some are really really bad. This was one of those.

Half my family are cops. Don't tell me about cops...I know more law enforcement people than most. There are good cops and bad cops...just as there are good teachers and bad teachers or good electricians and bad electricians.
