Is a black person calling another black person an Uncle Tom racist?

Why would calling a black man Uncle Tom racist? It's accurate. No different from being called a turncoat.

Turncoat against what? Their "race"?

If a White Supremacist Extremist (WSE) called a "white" man a "race traitor", is that racist? I think it is just like Uncle Tom is racist. Both are terms that declare the humans are divided by race, a false assumption as proved by modern science.

That's an interesting question. It isn't any different from calling someone a nigger lover.

Take Clarence Thomas as an example. He would not pause to have interracial marriage banned based on his history. That is racist. He is speaking/acting on behalf of white men.

Agreed. It's promoting a racial "Us or Them" allegiance when the real question should be "Do you support rights for everyone or just a few?" Racists are pushing a "just a few" agenda.

Thomas is an odd one, but it seems that most of the Uber-rich and/or Uber-powerful in America are a bit odd. They seem to only move in small, elitist circles never seen by most Americans.

This led to the use of Uncle Tom – sometimes shortened to just a Tom[2][3] – as a derogatory epithet for an exceedingly subservient person or house negro, particularly one aware of his or her own lower-class racial status.

That's pretty ironic. :)

I read the book and understand the reference. It was often used in the 1960s.

Speaking of which, one of my heroes is el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz AKA Malcolm X. Not for what he is popularly known for by white supremacists, but for the man he became after his Hajj. Note the "el-Hajj" in front of his name.

That was before Louis Farrakhan and his assholes murdered him in front of his family after declaring him uppity.

I watched the movie played by Denzel Washington.

I have always thought he encouraged violence.

Good book: The Autobiography of Malcolm X https://www.britannica.com/topic/The-Autobiography-of-Malcolm-X
The Autobiography of Malcolm X, biography, published in 1965, of the American Black militant religious leader and activist who was born Malcolm Little. Written by Alex Haley, who had conducted extensive audiotaped interviews with Malcolm X just before his assassination in 1965, the book gained renown as a classic work on the Black American experience.

The Autobiography recounts the life of Malcolm X from his traumatic childhood plagued by racism to his years as a drug dealer and pimp, his conversion to the Black Muslim (Nation of Islam) faith while in prison for burglary, his subsequent years of militant activism, and the turn late in his life to more orthodox Islam.

It would help if you'd just correct me where I went wrong instead of playing the victim, QP.

Sure, I could use some improvement but if you don't tell me where I went wrong, how can I learn?

Hiding your gender, QP? That's very interesting. Okay, now I know you're not cis male. Are you cis female or something in between?

That is not how it works Dutch.

For instance 'quote where you did not say the thing about Nazi's' Dutch? Can you cite that for me?

You are the one who claimed i was being racist and i am saying i made no such statements and i am asking you to cite your claim? I cannot cite the claim by you that DOES NOT exist.

Are you going to cite what you claimed or play this game?

I think there can be over lapping arguments here.

First is 'is it possible for a person to be like Candace Owens, who realizes she can make lots of money from racist people by attacking people who look like she does'. To that argument i say 'yes, those people exist' and whether you call them Undlce Toms are not, i could care less. As long as we do not deny the 'description' of what they do, in an attempt to not use the words.

The second conversation, i never engaged in, is one of 'race as social construct'. I have strong feelings on that, but did not address them here.

That's how life works, QP.

The fact you refuse to correct me where I'm wrong tells me I wasn't wrong. That I only touched a nerve with you.

Yes, QP, I called you a racist because you are racist; you divide people into groups by their color of their skin, not the content of their character.

Why are you avoiding naming your gender? Are you afraid I won't respect you in the morning? That I will take you less seriously if you admit you aren't a cis male?

Candace Owens is just a grifter. Plenty of people know that. She's just a race baiter for the money and fame (infamy).

That is not how it works Dutch. You are being stupid.

You said i was being racist above which started this. I asked you to cite what you are referring to and you flip it that i have to find it so you can comment on it.

You made the initial claim, cite you work or it tells me you know you were wrong and made a statement you cannot back up. That i touched a nerve with you.

Again you say i am racist and yet again you refuse to quote a racist statement by me.

Dutch you are just mad because i called you out on your views that echo Hitlers on Jews. You mad?

She is also an uncle Tom, by the usage of the word that correlates to a black person who seeks the praise and approval (and money) of white people by telling them what they want to hear about black people. She tried to make money as an influencer or advocate on the left originally, in support of black causes, and she failed. She then found that audience on the right who would embrace her, if she attacked people who she looked like.

Respectfully disagreed, ma'am. :flagsal:

Read the post you quoted of me; it explains why you're a racist. You know, the part you don't want to discuss.

In other words, she's a pretend Uncle Tom for the money and fame.

Translation: Owens is a race traitor.

Admit it, QP, you hate her because she's a race traitor, not because she's like Ann Coulter making a buck off suckers.
