Is Capitalism Going to fall in America and Europe

You know, I have no problem with rich people being rich....what I have a problem with is that the rich people used to be rich back when a single income could raise a family and two incomes meant you were pretty well off....but nowadays, the rich have seen their wealth increase exponentially while regular people need two incomes just to make ends meet...and THAT'S if both incomes are of a decent wage.

What do people think? That to keep on increasing the amount of disaffected people is going to keep Socialists and Communists away? This country... no matter how much the captains of industry think differently... is still a nation of one man/one vote. The policies of protecting the wealthy at the expense of the workforce is exactly what will eventually bring the house down on top of them.

Conservatism is creating an environment in which the very thing they hate and fear the most will thrive and grow.

AHHH yes.....I've seen this happen on every forum I visit. A Right Winger makes an account and tries to act like a Communism lover in hopes to lure in some comments from the Left.

The tell tale signs are generally;
1) Very few posts.
2) No one in the world fights for dictatorship..except for the people who think they might have a chance to be that dictator.

Everyone in American runs America.

Let me answer seriously and with detail.

If Capitalism fails it's because of the war that has been talked about lately. We have THOUSANDS of Americans ready for war right now because they bought into Capitalist propaganda. Notice so many people ready to go to war because Obama was going to take all our guns away, yet no one credible ever said that he was going to except for the NRA who is raking in profits from gun manufacturers. It use to be $14-$35MILLION a year. It went up after this stunt. And now I can't buy bullets because Redneck and Biker Americans don't know the difference and bought them all in preparation for a Civil War based on LIES the NRA sold for profit alone. They never heard Obama tell the little girl in the debates that he can't ban guns. But for some reason, forcing Congress to make the decision is "Tyranny". So many dumb people in America.

I view Socialism like I view Libertarians. They are both good idea's to know about and care about and to consider when making any decision. But once you submit yourself into a party where all that matters is Socialism or Libertarianism.......then you make terrible decisions. The key, IMO is to balance the two.

And trust me. The Left knows way more about Liberty than the Right and the Right has no clue about Socialism. The Right constantly talks about not getting a good paycheck and all my Right wing friends are poor hard workers. They don't understand that they are working in the most useful industries in America and are only poor because of Capitalism, not Socialism.

What is more important? A mechanic, or a clothes salesman on Hollywood BLVD. Who makes more? Because of Capitalism. The freedom to pull the wool over the eyes of the less informed.

Now Righties. If everyone in America made the same amount of money, what sort of lifestyle would we live. You have no clue because you never thought about it. Never considered it. Why do some have multiple mansions and even islands, and if you threaten to raise taxes, they threaten to lay off American workers instead of budgeting their money to a more neutral level.

Wow....great post. I agree with the vast majority if it. I only take issue with the last part. Like I said...I don't have a problem with rich people being rich....I have a problem with rich people getting even richer than ever before when the majority of the workforce can't make ends meet on two incomes.

Most hard working Americans work as hard or harder than the top %. That's a fact.

Muscle/Manual labor Americans break their bodies down and make the least and face a hard future.

Brain/Schooled labor depends on if you were raised the right way and possibly influenced by money.

What you teach a child when they are really young sticks with them the rest of their life. Even eating habbits. If a child has drugged out parents, what chance does that child have to be a doctor (top %er). Every child has equal potential until there is a lack of parenting and/or money. But just cancel PBS because it costs per year what Afghanistan costs per day, yet educates children with druggie parents that plop them in front of a TV.

Oh...yeah...I'm with you there....I should have specified....I meant the part of everyone making the same...sorry about that.

We don't need full blown income equality...what we need is a fair day's pay for a fair day's work..... and if you need to rely on food stamps, Medicaid and subsidized housing to survive when you are working full time....that's not a fair day's pay.

The Right doesn't understand or want to understand "A fair days pay for a fair days work" They want to use Fox news to tell you and others that we are going to be a struggling nation if these workers expect so many things and this economy expects air you can see through. They haven't learned, "Freedom isn't free" yet. But that is the bad word, Evolution.

The sad thing is...we have some real world solutions right in front of us....renewable energy...but the fossil fuel lobby doesn't want it, so they spend huge amounts of money to combat it....saying that we don't have the money to invest in such nonsense....but, they didn't mind the investment that taxpayers gave them back when whale blubber was king.

Someone is going to make it work....I'd rather it be us and have other countries buy OUR breakthrough rather than the other way around.

That's just one example....

Today I understand that Fox News is just a simple brainwash for the weak minded. Everyone strong minded knows this. But the weak haven't challenged it yet because "Lamestream meadia is all the same and they all lie, only listen to us, we are the only channel with facts, we will lead you to success and they will lead you to failure" Meanwhile they pick your pocketbook and you point your finger at Trayvon.

There is NO engine you can create that will replace what capitalism can produce.


FREEDOM is what allows man create.


the only way to KEEP capitalism FREE is to regulate it in such a manner that no one can monopolize so much of it that it does not remain free enough to be called capitalism.


Its a delicate balance and requires thoughtful cooperation between all our leaders.

some just want to hand it all to the sociopaths so they can pretend there is some automatic setting.
