Is Climate Change Possible Redux

Climate change is not only possible; it is inevitable with dependence on fossil fuels and in time will make earth uninhabitable.
That, anyway, is the astrophysicist view. A planet's life span from this inevitable overheating is about 1,000 years. That would seem to give earth
about 800 more years.

This view of the planet's inevitable demise is laughed at, as we know, by people who don't know anything.

Nice straw man. You said the atmosphere doesn't impact temperature on Earth. Someone that ignorant doesn't get a voice in scientific conversations.
Inversion fallacy. YOU brought it up, Void.

The atmosphere doesn't change the temperature of the Earth at all.
You are not having a scientific conversation.

"Increased temperature is higher energy, Void"

Again, you believe the atmosphere currently has no impact on temperature on Earth.
The atmosphere does not change the temperature of Earth at all, Void. You cannot create energy out of nothing. You are STILL ignoring the 1st law of thermodynamics.
Therefore, you don't get a say on scientific topics,
I didn't write the theory you are desperately trying to ignore, Void.
much like Jeffrey Dahmer doesn't get a say on moral topics.
You don't get to censor any theory of science, Void.
Sane discussion doesn't include crazy people.
You are not having a sane discussion.

Without an atmosphere, the average temp on earth would be around 0 degrees fahrenheit.

Why do you think that is?
Argument from randU fallacy. Attempted proof by contrivance.

The temperature of the Earth is not changed by the presence of an atmosphere. You cannot create energy out of nothing, you cannot destroy energy into nothing. You are STILL ignoring the 1st law of thermodynamics.

Climate change is not only possible;
Climate cannot change. Your word games won't work. This synonym for the Church of Global Warming does not change the theories of science you decide to ignore.
it is inevitable with dependence on fossil fuels
Fossils aren't used as fuel. Fossils don't burn.
and in time will make earth uninhabitable.
Is that why the population is increasing??
That, anyway, is the astrophysicist view.
You don't get to speak for everyone. You only get to speak for you. Omniscience fallacy.
A planet's life span from this inevitable overheating is about 1,000 years.
What 'invevitable overheating'? Argument from randU fallacy.
That would seem to give earth
about 800 more years.
Argument from randU fallacy. Your Doom and Gloom predictions have all failed.
...and the random Holy Link you attempt to use as a 'proof'. Meh. Holy Links are not a proof.
This view of the planet's inevitable demise is laughed at, as we know, by people who don't know anything.
I don't see you laughing, so I assume you are simply contradicting yourself. That's irrational, dude. It's a paradox.

You are ignoring the 1st law of thermodynamics. You cannot create energy out of nothing. E(t+1) = E(t) - U, where 'E' is energy, 't' is time, and 'U' is work (or force over time). The mere presence of any gas or vapor is not work, so 'U' is zero.

Why are you so afraid of carbon dioxide?? This naturally occurring gas is absolutely necessary for life to exist on Earth.

Stop acting so fucking dumb. Do you wear jackets when it's cold out? If so, why? Jackets can't "heat" your body, right, so why wear them? Walking around in just a light t-shirt shouldn't feel any different than wearing a thick jacket, right?

Putting a jacket on a rock won't warm the rock, Void.

Jackets, like blankets or house insulation, work by reducing heat.

You cannot create energy out of nothing. You are STILL ignoring the 1st law of thermodynamics.

Actually it sort of does. Clouds are a kind of blanket. After a day of being warmed by the sun the rocks radiate that heat back out. If you bring in some clouds it TRAPS THE HEAT AT THE SURFACE like a blanket.

The people at NASA who study these things can explain it to you at your level.

Why do you wear a jacket when it's cold? Is it because jackets create energy? Or is it because the insulation jacket performs a specific function as it relates to your body, aka "the rock"?

Nope. You cannot create energy out of nothing.
Clouds are a kind of blanket.
Clouds are liquid water or ice. They are not a blanket.

You cannot trap heat, Twilight. You are ignoring the 2nd law of thermodynamics: e(t+1) >= e(t), where 'e' is entropy (or available energy for work), and 't' is time. You cannot reduce entropy...EVER.

Heat is not contained in any kind of container, Twilight.

Science isn't a government agency. NASA can't create energy out of nothing or reduce entropy either.
Nope. You cannot reduce entropy...EVER...for ANY length of time. You are ignoring the 2nd law of thermodynamics.
Cloud is not a climate.

Clouds often form as a result of convective heating. They cannot and do not trap heat.

Putting a jacket on a dead body won't make that body warmer. You are still ignoring the 1st law of thermodynamics. You cannot create energy by using a jacket, blanket, or any other thermal insulator.

The earth isn't a dead body. There is energy radiating from it's surface as a result of the energy from the Sun hitting it.

So, why do you wear a jacket? How does it make you feel less cold?

Why do you think yourself smarter than NASA?

I mean you clearly have no real education in any of this stuff, so why do you think you are smarter than they are?
