Is the age of Enlightenment over?

Let's see...

Some Leftist conspiracy theories

GMO's
AIDS / HIV is a government created disease to kill minorities and the LGBTPDQRST+-
9/11 was an inside job
Russia / Trump collusion
The Hunter Biden laptop was a plant and not real
CRT isn't being used in education
Capitalist oligarchs control everything
Natural herb and oil cures being hidden from public
Meat is bad, even evil for you
The DNC rigs the outcome of primaries to keep candidates like Bernie Sanders from winning
5G causes COVID
Zionism is a global cabal
Such rubbish.

I apply it to mean an alternative to a movement. So if there was a reason to say we had an alternative to the left, I would use the term alt. I guess we could use alt for Third Way. I would use more the term moderate left, because that is a better description. So we need something far left, but not alternative to the old far left... Maybe something to do with anarchy, but I cannot think of a current movement that "alt left" would be a great description of.

Which brings us back to what is the difference between the "left" and the "alt left"?
"Radical left" is commonly used for the far Left.

Both do it, the Felon and his crew are the worst
I've said as much. But, given that by the time you hit the loonies on the Right that are into conspiracy theories to the degree the Left in general is, they are irrelevant as they're too disorganized and few in number to matter.

Trump’s collusion with Russia was a claim based on a known relationship with the Russian government, not a theory. At the time he began his candidacy Trump was secretly engaged with officials in Moscow to build a hotel in the city. The plan and its secrecy continued into the primary season, until March when the story came to light and the plan was shelved. By then Trump had emerged as a serious contender for the nomination. Contacts directly related to Trump’s candidacy then continued, as we know, giving rise to the “collusion” claim. Trumpers like to say Mueller refuted collusion. He did not. In his report, Mueller expressly said his investigation did not inquire into “collusion”, but looked only for “criminal conspiracy”, a point he repeated in his televised report.

Your premise is flawed. The "Left" is more diverse than the Right, more literate and objective than the Right, less attracted overall to mere "theories".
The Left is none of those thing. The Left thinks and moves in near lockstep. It hates dissent and will tolerate none. It is not open to new ideas or opposed opinions or even facts.

Is “Russian collusion” (which has been debunked over and over) all that you have left, Marty.

Too funny.

Marty has just had too many of these encounters...

Is there any issue or area of American life that does NOT have a conspiracy theory around it these days?

I can't even watch a football game without hearing a few of 'em.

The only conspiracy I've seen is the conspiracy of dunces who have run this nation into the ground for the last 4 years.

If you are seeing conspiracy theories in your televised leisure activities, you should find more esoteric pursuits. I like a half hour of FOX news in the morning and evening and a couple of movies and series on Netflix.

I guess you could say that every huddle in a football game is a conspiracy of sorts.

He's another nitwit who puts his comments in boldface on the theory that louder is better.
MAGAts, like their Orange Jesus, all seem to have self-esteem issues. It helps explain their hatred of fellow Americans based on sex, skin-tone and sexual preference.
