Is the Bible Literally True? No, of Course Not!

As medical scanning devices go, this one's a tad more invasive (because of the shot).
Actually, I received a terrible tasting beverage that contains the imagible substance. The downside is that you have to wait 30 minutes to an hour for the substance to become well circulated.

Nice. They made it even 'simpler' (if fouler tasting and lengthier!).
A lot of places just give you a shot. I prefer that method, since it gets the substance into your bloodstream quicker and you don't have to drink foul liquids.

Your post.

Science is not scientists, Sock. It is not even people. It has no politics, no voting bloc, no religion. It is completely atheistic.

Correct science is science.
Scientists are scientists.

Where do you come up with these amazing insights???
And what if he's an idiot? A lot of mechanics are incompetent, sloppy, or even outright dishonest. How to you avoid getting ripped off?

Other than educating yourself and doing the analysis/repair yourself, there is no method to ensure, with 10/% certainty, that you are selecting a good mechanic. That's why it's a good idea to get multiple opinions.

There is no information on the age of the Earth, Sock.[/QUOTE]

I think you're developing an interesting movie plot! :D

It is YOU denying science, mathematics, the Bible, the Constitution, and history, Sock.
You cannot blame YOUR problems on anybody else.

Nope. I am denying, on specific topics, your understandings and interpretations of the Bible and Constitution. As it relates to science and math, related to the GE of the Earth, I don't accept your opinion.

You seem to have trouble handling quotations now.
Correct science is science.
Circular definition, Sock.

YOU are the one that equated 'scientists' with 'science', Sock. Don't try to deny your own posts!

I do the repairs and maintenance myself, Sock.
That way I know it's done right.

You have never read the Bible at all, Sock. It's obvious.

So, you're (supposedly) so big on evidence. I'm very skeptical, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I've repeatedly posted and discussed, in detail, several topics/verses in the Bible. How is that possible without reading or having read the Bible?

Both the Bible and the Constitution are plainly written, Sock. They don't need 'interpretation'. Not by you, not by any 'expert', and not by me. You just want to deny both the Bible and the Constitution.
As it relates to science and math, related to the GE of the Earth, I don't accept your opinion.
Neither discusses science or math, Sock. Neither describes the age of the Earth.
I am not making an opinion about the age of the Earth, Sock. YOU are.

You cannot project YOUR problems on anybody else, Sock.

Remember, you don't know what any of those terms mean. You think theists are atheists and you think atheists are agnostics. When I tried to help you, you felt your precious ignorance being threatened.

atheists deny the existence of gods......agnostics deny knowledge regarding the existence of gods......you deny the existence of knowledge of the difference........

Misquoting isn't reading, Sock.

The realities of science, like the realities of the internal combustion engine, while they may exist, don't magically flow through the air and embed themselves in our brains, Alex. There have to be people who discover and learn those realities.
I do the repairs and maintenance myself, Sock.

Right...and yet your opinion of many aspects of the Bible and science conflict with many who are as, or more, knowledgeable than you. My dad seems to believe he is an expert in troubleshooting. As someone who is much, much closer to an expert than he, I know he's not, yet he chooses, like you, to believe what he WANTS to believe.

atheists deny the existence of gods.
WRONG. Atheists simply don't care whether any god or gods exist or not. They simply take the attitude that nothing has convinced them of either way.
Science is atheistic. It doesn't care whether a god or gods exist or not. It simply doesn't go there.
Mathematics is atheistic. It doesn't care whether a god or gods exist or not. It simply doesn't go there.
Logic is atheistic. It doesn't care whether a god or gods exist or not. It simply doesn't go there.

Atheists are often scientists, mathematicians, logicians, or some combination of them.

The word 'theist' is one who believes in a religion or 'theology'. The prefix a- means 'not' or 'no' or 'none'. The word 'atheist' means one that has no religion or theology (and no belief).
On other words, their view is no view.
This word first appeared in the English lexicon around the late 14th century.

.....agnostics deny knowledge regarding the existence of gods.
An 'agnostic' means 'no god'. This is the view of the Church of No God, mostly made up of fundamentalists, often militant.
This word first appeared in the English lexicon around the mid 17th century.

Both words are Greek in origin, and transcribed into Latin virtually unchanged.

Wrong. The Bible especially is not plainly written. That's why there is significant disagreement, even among Christians, about dozens upon dozens of topics. I literally copied/pasted words from the Bible and Gfm swears they don't mean what they say. If the Bible is clear, that wouldn't happen.

Again....I mean, you just HAVE to be a troll.
