Here are the historical facts. They are are not even open to debate.

Germany declared war on America mere days after Pearl Harbor and attacked our eastern seaboard with their U-boat fleet.

FDR and US military commanders decided that waging war on Germany and victory in Europe was America's primary goal from 1941 onward, that the defeat of Germany was America's number one priority, and the war in the Pacific against Japan was a secondary front. The plan was always to defeat Japan after crushing Hitler.


Christie was 100 percent correct about the importance and primacy of the U.S. war effort in Europe, despite your attempts to man-splain and correct her.

I thought you had me on ignore? You ban me from your threads, don't you? Why are you replying to me? Still pissed I took you to task about ballistics?
That said, we had no intention of entering the war, but we did send military hardware to Europe in their efforts against the Germans. It wasn't until the attack on Pearl that we were "officially" at war. We did prioritize much our efforts to defeat Germany.

Hitler declared war on the USA 3 days after Pearl Harbor. FDR only asked Congress to reciprocate after Hitler's declaration.

FDR refused to help Jews fleeing the Holocaust. Like many DEMOCRATS, he was a panderer.
