You have an interesting take on this situation. If I emailed you a letter containing a white powder, and put President Trump's NYC address on the return label, would that be okay with you? The white powder would just be my mom's ashes nothing else of course. You wouldn't call the police right?

It would not be okay. Just like when Don Jr.'s wife got a letter containing white powder that turned out to be harmless, the entire right had a hissy fit.

Better check under the bed...

Isn't it fascinating how the outrage meter is re-calibrated by who receives the threat, and the perception of who sent it? Apparently today there was much presidential sympathy for the victims of the synagogue massacre, for instance, but little for the addressees of this week's pipe bomb mailings.

This is another stupid made up poll by legion. There are no fake bombs. They were real. If you were sent one, you would be very unhappy and scared. It was not a hoax. The guy is facing 60 years in jail. Legion is such a liar. According to FBI real bombs. REAL , real.

“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up,” Waters told a crowd in California over the weekend. “If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Maybe he was taking Water's advise?

Nope. Incited by Trump.

What "hateful rhetoric" is that, dickhead?
You know, things like "America First" or "our law enforcements officers are the best", anything pro-America or anything good. The angry mob hates America and loves criminals and terrorists.

Yeah, I guess that includes all those "Nationalist" WWII vets who loved this country enough to fight and die to protect it. I'll bet dickhead's glad they're almost all gone too.

Thought for sure you were the synagogue shooter given your love of guns, location, user name, and political persuasion.

It was a white man who shot four cops at the synagogue yesterday. He thinks we have to put America first, too.

There's no question that the WW2 vets fought to keep the Nazis from conquering Europe. It was a worthy cause even though they weren't actually protecting this country.

And the Vietnam vets fought people halfway around the world away despite the phony reasons for being there. This country was under no imminent threat from the Vietnamese.

Let's not forget there was a draft at that time that forced even the ones who disagreed with the war to fight and die.

TBT I don't believe the president is capable of sympathy or empathy. I think he would have privately (or tweeted-ly) gloated if one of those Dems had been killed or injured. Something like "if they had installed explosives detectors at their (house, office), this never would have happened."

A good insight.

The "nationalists" of the 1930 were the isolationists who said we should stay out of European problems and focus only on America.

It was the "internationalist" like FDR who thought Hitler was an existential threat to global stability and western liberal Democracy.
