Actually I have given the answer multiple times. 6 DAYS!!!LOL Then you tell me that in GODS eyes, 1 day is a thousand years and then a mentioned that it is slightly(LOL) more then a thousand years. We are talking millions and billions. :)

Many HONEST Bible scholars have dismissed it as nonsense and so has most rational thinking people. That is why the more educated people become, the less they believe in Bible fairy tales. The Churches are becoming more and more empty in the west!

No Bible scholar I am aware of, has ever tried to claim God wasn't omnipotent. As for "educated people" and belief in the Bible, the one man on the planet who was smart enough to map the human genome, was a Christian believer in the Bible, how do you explain that? No' I have stated that many of the stories presented in the Bible are not intended to be taken literally. That said, there is absolutely nothing in the Bible about the earth being 6,000 or 7,000 years old. That notion is completely refuted in Gen 1:1-5, where there is no defined time line present. You keep insisting on "6 days" but you can't rationalize this because "days" weren't created until Gen 1:5. From Gen 1:1 to Gen 1:4, could have taken billions of (human understood) years. And if omnipotent God created "days" and the light and dark, he can also make time stand still, or rewind time, or fast-forward time, as he pleases. There is nothing in the Bible that says God has to operate within the human understanding of the laws of the universe, in fact, the Bible says that God is omnipotent.

The Book of Genesis CLEARLY states that God created life, but it doesn't CLEARLY state that he didn't create life before this, or that the creation process only took 6 human-defined days. As I said, just between Gen 1:1 and 1:5, could have been millions or billions of years. God could also make a day last for millions and billions of years, if he so desired. God is not constrained by laws of the universe or physics. If he were, he wouldn't be "omnipotent."
