War has been a part of the human experience going back to cave man days.
While there is a question over how an aircraft carrier would do in a near peer war, they are very useful in smaller conflicts. Even in a near peer war, there is no obvious replacement for a carrier.
80 years of near constant use of carriers proves you wrong.

Just like their VA-111 Shkval torpedo, something moving that fast is unguided. The Kh-47 Kinzhal ballistic missile is that way. Yea, it's fast but if you don't target it perfectly, and the target is moving, getting a hit is problematic.

It has to be obvious I know nothing about war. I'm only a messenger who was told carriers are sitting ducks in modern warfare. I watched the Houthis close down the Red Sea so I'm pretty sure Iran can close down the Persian Gulf.
Biden was forced on the world for the sole purpose of starting a war with Russia and Iran. Once the Persian Gulf is shut down, the global economy comes to a standstill. There has to be someone in the pentagon who knows our carriers are not as scary a they were 30 years ago.

The Houthis didn't attack a single aircraft carrier. And, they have failed to hit a single warship. Sure, unprotected merchant ships sailing by themselves are open to their depredations, but that is hardly an argument that carriers are "sitting ducks."
Iran has tried in the past to shut down the Persian Gulf. They failed to do so too.
Biden was absent from the world stage and that, in part, emboldened Russia and Iran. A single US carrier has a stronger and more capable air force aboard than Iran has in totality. That's how badly depleted the Iranian Air Force is.
The last war the US won was Panama, a tiny country in Latin America the size of South Carolina. We got our ass kicked in Afghanistan and Iraq. The first thing a woman potus has to do is start a war to show she's as tough as the guys. Margaret Thatcher is a good example. Hillary started 5 or 6 wars as secretary of state. That alone shows what a bitch Obama is.
