Japan building their first aircraft carriers since WW 2

In both Afghanistan and Iraq we won the war--pretty much one-sided smackdowns in both cases--but lost the peace. What the US isn't good at is an occupation after the ass kicking.
The only thing the US is good at is dropping bombs on women and children. Iran will destroy every military base we have in the region. The zionist colony will be wiped off the map.

We'll be able to talk about it in real time, unless Cyberia gets shut down too.

I am remembering Carlin saying something to the effect "We cant do anything else anymore, but we can sure bomb the fuck out of brown people!"

He did his best to warn us.

The Japs are dumb continuing to be slaves of the collapsing American Empire.
The Japanese are beginning to wonder if they can count on America, especially if trump is elected. The purpose to trying to build an aircraft carrier is to replace the American aircraft carriers if trump is elected.

They are getting a bit of a head start. If trump is elected, they will almost immediately start building nuclear weapons. They have all the parts of a nuclear weapon sitting around, so they could do that in weeks. They have actually put some thought into preparing for this.

They will try to develop full size carriers, but since the USA is the only country in the world to have a lot of carrier experience, that could take decades. They will hope their tiny carrier, and nuclear weapons will be enough to defend them without the USA... If trump is elected.

Over the past 3 years I made close to a dozen posts on Reagan being smart enough to get us out of Beirut but the search feature here only came up with this.
Reagan put a detachment of US Marines into Lebanon, for no definable reason. At one point he ordered them to advance "10" forward, without saying 10 feet, 10 yards, 10 kilometers, 10 miles, 10 whatever. Whatever it was, it meant leaving prepared bunkers. They were too small of a force to do much of anything, except die. He had random areas shelled by the US Navy, creating a generation of enemies.

And then when confronted, Reagan fled. In short, Reagan was stupid enough to station forces in Lebanon that could do nothing for no reason. He should have gotten us out of Lebanon before there was any loss of life.

Scandinavia was looking East for their future in the 21st century, but our bully empire quickly shut it down. The world has realized the US is failing.
Sweden and Finland just joined NATO. Denmark, Norway, Iceland, and Greenland are expanding their ties to NATO. The reality is as close to the opposite of what you are saying as possible.

I'm surprised Carlin was allowed to get away with the stuff he said. He took big chances on ruining his career.

Only because he always claimed that he was massively exaggerating for the humor....but I tend to believe he was lying....because most of what he said turned out to be right on the money.

The EU and NATO are bankrupt, especially Germany. I thought you kept up with this stuff. Again, we get to watch WW3 on TV. None of us will complain if DC is vaporized.

At the jump of The Debacle in Ukraine multiple people on my grapevine were saying that this is likely the end of NATO.

Ir sure looks like they were right.

It may not have always been so, but NATO is an offensive (in both meanings of the word) WarPig organization, an arm of the collapsing American Empire.

The EU is not bankrupt, and has very little in the way of debts. NATO has nothing in the way of debts, so could not go bankrupt. Germany has one of the most balanced budgets in the first world.

I would be very upset if DC were vaporized.

Back in 2002, Germany and France were opposed to Dick Cheney's wars. The US had to threaten them with financial ruin if they didn't get in line. We should make bets on which will be the first NATO country to jump ship.

The exact opposite of what you say is true. Germany is in big trouble.

From the net.
Germany's largest industrial employer, Volkswagen, is reportedly considering closing at least two plants in Germany after years of declining value and a struggle to transition to electric vehicles. Sep 4, 2024

The drive to expand NATO to Russias border and use it to abuse Russia was put in place during the Clinton years.

More importantly the people are rapidly figuring that their government has betrayed them, on multiple fronts.

Also that the Merkle years were disastrous for Germany and for Europe.....it took the Germans a lot of years to figure this out.

Germany has growth problems, but not bankruptcy problems.
