I was in the car most of the morning, I find him more entertaingin than most of what is on the radio and I learn a lot about certian segments of society that listen to him and there minds work and dont work.

For you to say 'I would rather have a less qualified President if it meant their kids didn't travel without their parents?' yeah, that is fucking retarded. I would rather the more qualified person be put in charge and save us billions than get pissy about millions spent on travel. As was stated earlier... the Presidents kids are entitled to travel just as any other kids are with parental approval. We the people agree to protect the families of our President via the secret service.

While I personally think 25 to protect one kid is a tad much, in the grand scheme of things it isn't that much money.

The discussion was about how how bad a parent President and Mrs. Obama are for allowing her to go to Mexico, how the President endangered America's national security by allowing her to go, how he used gustapo tacticts to control the media (no elaboration) and how she should spring break in the USA because it would have helped our economy.

IT was basically a rant on the President. A very small part was about how he has 'power over the media'. Which he does not! There is nothing wrong with asking a media outlet to not report a story, there might be something wrong with a media outlet doing so, and there would be something wrong with punishing a media outlet for not doing so.
 
So Jarod are you going to share with us what Glen Beck said about Jenna Bush while George W. was President?
 
My guess is that the child has an army of protectors with her and whomever is with her as 'guests.'

I do know that both my ex and myself discouraged our daughter and son-in-law from a Mexican honeymoon, due to violence and kidnappings from 'well-protected tourists areas.' They chose Bahamas and had a wonderful time.

When my kids were twelve they took school trips chaperoned by teachers and parents. The kids were assigned hotel rooms, 3 or 4 to a room, and at night the rooms were taped shut. Also, the chaperones checked the doors at intervals to see if anyone sneaked out, i.e. the tape was broken. It worked out well. I've heard stories about older teens on school trips sneaking booze but the 12-year olds stayed in line.

I don't understand. Do you think they're going to areas full of drug cartels? that they'll be kidnapped, raped, get drunk, what? They're 12. They're still pre-teens who aren't going to be left on their own. They'll visit the pyramids, hang out at the pool and buy cheap souvenirs.

They went to one of the areas that's not on the warning list. And I agree, the Obama seem like really good parents with well-adjusted kids.
