The good news, for all of us, is that it looks like they will not have to use deem and pass to get this bill passed, today was the breaking point.

believe it or not, that is good news. that means that an overt violation of the constitution isn't going to happen. Now, if the house does pass it, we can calmly go the route of challenging it in the courts as an overreach of the commerce clause. I much prefer that method.

What "breaking point" are you talking about? Kusenich? Puuuleaze! He is the most liberal Congressman in America... if you couldn't count on HIS vote for this shit, that would be truly amazing! Is there anyone who thought he was NOT going to fold?

Look.... 73% of America wants them to scrap this bill and start over! There are at least 20-something Democrats, who previously voted FOR the bill, who say they can't support this! The votes to pass it are not there, or ...believe me... it WOULD be on the floor as we speak! The ONLY reason it is not, is because they don't have the votes!

The time for Liberals to WAKE THE FUCK UP is right now! You are about to commit political suicide, and it's just not worth it. Think about all the other liberal pinhead things you want to do... none of them are going to be accomplished after this, you will lose all your political power in November, and Obama will be a lame duck until 2012... the party is over... Liberals are DONE!

The probelm with this bill for a long time has been that it was not liberal for many of the liberals, had they been on board it would have passed MONTHS ago. So now they are finally agreeing that a "not liberal enough" bill is better than no bill.
