Well let's look at the long term impact from a notable war in the first half of the last century and a notable social welfare program:
How much do we pay for the Phillipine-American war in 2010?
Now how much do we pay for SS in 2010?
Hmmm, zero dollars versus over $650 billion and rising fast, which oh which should we take?
And I want to make very clear I am not justifying that war or any war, but I am always most concerned with financial cost to my kids and there is no question which is worse in order of magnitude.
YOU are purposely naive to history if you cannot understand that a war always ends while social welfare spending always increases.
Whats more important to you, Money or innocent lives? It seems you are comparing lives lost in Iraq to money lost in the health care bill.
And I want to make it very clear I am not conseeding that I belive this Bill will cost anywhere close to your estimates.
