It has been clear to me since the Oroville Dam spillway failure in 2017 that increasingly in CA the government does not competently complete even the most important of its duties despite spending gobs of money.

Maybe you should before you pop off. Just a suggestion.
I read your OP and I was merely asking the lefties here whether they thought this disastrous fire could have been
prevented had their climate change/global warming fear had been taken care of by spending our tax monies on
their stupid and nonsensical reasons for having these disastrous weather conditions. So, you should pop
off. That's not a suggestion.

You'd think, but remember the governor banned cities from collecting rainwater from those huge rains last year so actual water is limited. When a fire starts, then its in high demand especially if a pumping station gets hit by the fire, leading to no water for your sprinkler.
Pool + generator + pump = lots of water for your sprinklers.

You show your confusion all the time here at this forum by not knowing what side of the political ideology you stand for.

Think so?

Let me help you.

I stand for the "side" I want to. When I want to. Sometimes I'm on both "sides".

I'm glad I could clear that up for you.

Deciding the best way forwards based upon the reality of each situation rather than the global ideas already in ones head as Trump does has a lot going for it.

Not sure "lots" of water is a common thing in LA, and power was out for hundreds of thousands last night, reportedly.

More than 200,000 people in Los Angeles County were without power last night due to intense Santa Ana winds and wildfires.

It does seem that the utility is not turning off the power in high winds as they generally do now....which is interesting.

Look at Google maps or Earth. Damn near every house has a pool in Pacific Palisades. It's an upscale, affluent, area with large homes worth millions for the most part.

Also....the biggest reason I think why I was thrown out of DP is that I am a member of no tribe but the Truth Tellers....Tribal War is what they want...I dont do that....making me super annoying to them.
